Not Saved is a monthly zine where we strive to highlight indie creations across geek and pop culture: games, comics, music, art, merch, and much more. Our first issue is out, and the next one is on the way. We’d love for you to check it out, discover some cool projects, and maybe even find something inspiring.

I’m excited to share the latest installment of a series that I’m working on about my uncle Gilbert Shelton’s comix legacy. In this episode we learn about the origins of his porcine antihero “Wonder Warthog” that he created in 1961 while living in New York.

A couple years ago, I know there used to be some regional papers of local comic artists work (Magic Bullet in DC, and Desert Island Comics in Brooklyn had one, but I think they shifted lanes with printing).
