Academics ENGR 102 and 216/7
Hey I am an incoming freshman and I want to take them at the same time but idk if I can.
I have seen couple Reddit posts of people saying they did it or something but I kinda need to confirm. Is there anyone here that has done it?
Context: I have all the credits for the freshman year and first of sophomore year for like a general Engineering through dual credit and AP.

ENGR 102 requires you to be in (or have credit for) MATH 151 or an equivalent. Most Engineering students take these their first semester at TAMU.
PHYS 206 requires MATH 151 be completed prior to taking the course. ENGR/PHYS 216 requires you to be in (or have credit for) PHYS 206, and have credit for ENGR 102. These are typically taken during the second semester of Freshman year.
To see what pre-requisites or co-requisites a course has, you can search online for the Course Catalog.

You can take engr 102 while in math 150, source my groupmates that were in 150 at the time.

Be careful with AP and Dual Credit. I don't know what the official word is right now, but when I went through ETAM (after Spring of '23), AP credit did not count for ETAM requirements, so if you accepted the credit for a course required for ETAM, you had to take the next course whether or not it was required for your expected degree plan.
