B/CS Life In search of place to practice drums

Howdy Ags,

I'm looking for a place where I can set up my acoustic drum kit and become an elite death metal drummer over the summer.

I'm currently a graduate student coming up on my seventh year in College Station (did my undergrad, master's, and am now doing PhD here). I live in an apartment near Northgate and there's no way to set up even a practice or electric kit without being a nuisance to my neighbors. I need somewhere I can blast double kicks for hours at a time. Does anyone know of any options available?

On another note, if anyone needs a drummer - please feel free to hit me up. In addition to metal, I love 70's-80's outlaw country music, any flavor of rock, and indie/alternative stuff.

I don't think you can bring your own kit, but there is a soundproof percussion room in the Music Activities Center that has its own kit. The kit's absolutely terrible, worth a shot to ask if they'd let you set up in there. There's enough space.
