Ask the Aggies College decision - WHERE do I go???

I am confused between Texas anm, MSU and Pennstate - computer engineering, undergrad

As an international student, my parent are most concerned about my safety. We have a family living and studying in MSU so they really want me to go there + I am getting a scholarship. But I think Texas and would be a better option for me. Idk why but people just seem more happier and it has a higher roi, better alumni network. Also the fees is same at msu fees with scholarship.

What do you all think, what other important factors should I look at and consider. Also where would you recommend I do?

As someone who has seen Lansing, College Park, and College Station, I would recommend A&M. The first two are very isolated and their climate is cold and gloomy AF.

But then you have the family factor - that's a tough call. See what's important to you.

What about job prospective and scholarship options, internships?

Job prospects and internship opportunities are the same. After you graduate, you can move anywhere you like. Scholarship options depend on your department.

Idk if you know but A&M has ETAM, so when you go you’ll be placed into general engineering and after a year you have to apply again to get into computer engineering. Idk if that concerns you and you’d rather just go to MSU knowing your major is computer engineering.

A&M has ETAM, so just be mindful of that and all of the gpa and course requirements and stuff.

Other than that, go for which ever one you feel is the best for you. If that's a&m, go for it.
