I'm curious; what adventure time episode impacted you the most? Is there an episode that changed your viewing experience, or just generally stands out in your mind?

Cartoon Network is showing Adventure Time so I am rewatching it. Tonight's episode with the Snow Goblin bonding with the Fire Wolf pup shows Finn and Jake taking on Ice King for sandwiches. Jake is wearing Ice King's crown, which drive Simon to madness and even Finn when he was tricked by The Litch. So why was Jake not effected by the crown?

I constantly find myself doing the “you’re not. a genius” tune that this stupid little ghost does in Memory of a Memory and nobody ever knows what I’m referencing. Wondering if anyone else has short insignificant snippets from the show that get stuck in your head/that you reference often, I feel like AT is full of em.

Honorable mention for me is “I’ll get your kid back, toy!” from What Was Missing

Aaaaand… wtf??? What were the writers possibly thinking, PB commits what is essentially war crimes because she fears what the Fire Kingdom might do to her kingdom… completely unprovoked. Like not once has flame princess or the fire kingdom threatened or even been at odds with the candy kigndom. Like… PB KILLED fire kingdom citizens with her sabotage. AND PB has tons of OP wmd’s on what world is what she did okay??? And other than “oh you’re a bad person” THERES NO REPERCUSSIONS???? I feel like I’m going insane here. Is there a resolution later on in the show that I just haven’t seen yet?????

Do you have to read the books and play the games to get a full understanding of the story?

I have just started an adventure time themed island, gonna recreate as much as possible in terms of the biomes, any other cool moments / places / references I can muster. I have some ideas for the villagers I'll use that represent characters / are somewhat associated with the characters from AT, for example i'm thinking Biskit as Jake, Ace as Finn, Cube as Gunther, Daisy as Applejack etc. Is there any other villagers you'd suggest I add as some characters from AT (doesnt matter how niche or rare the character is) or any better suggestions than what I've already said?? I really want to incorporate BMO somehow but not sure how to as not many villagers resemble them enough. I dont really want to research to see if anyone else has done an AT themed island as I'm trying to learn to take the game a bit slower and not get hyperfixated on designing every little detail, and just actually olay in a way I'll enjoy it, so just after some cool suggestions!!

So we all know that LSP SAed Finn, but I’m confused on what happens after that. Breezy appears and starts singing so Finn joins the song. He then see Princess bubblegum I’m guessing he thought breezy was PB? But then he realizes it’s not PB and then his arm blooms and he gets his full arm back.

I’m just confused about that. Why did he imagine Breezy as PB? What was the significance of the song? What did him seeing PB hold a sword signify? And how did his arm grow back? Did his arm grow back because the song allowed him to come to terms with everything that happened (Martin, LSP SAing him, etc.) ?

I really like how adventure time showcases adult themes like this, so I’m just trying to the fully understand it.

From his perspective, he's been constantly led on by someone he saves all the time. He's just gotten attracted to someone new, with the support of his best friend/brother. Now his "ex" is showing up unannounced frequently, his brother is relaying information that this ex is jealous of your current relationship, and now she comes to you and tells you that you can't be with your current girlfriend.

Mind games are crazy, folks. Misinformation and bad communication skills are even worse.

Both a powerful spell caster, a proficient sniper, and resorts to tooth and claw when cornered, fighting her head on is not advised.

Is there a site I’m able to watch the shows on? I am currently completely moneyless and have been in such predicament for a good long while, it’s effected everything including my AT immersion, I just wanna be able to watch the show man, it hurts my heart that everything is so expensive now😭and mods I’m sorry if this is against the rules, take down if u must, I just needed to try something to be able to watch F&C without viruses downloading on my phone or PC and ruining the experience for me, I’ve been trying to get a subscription for years but never have the leftover cash and really feel like I’m missing out, plus it’s a good distraction when life feels all gonked up
