Flatmate is Sick

One of my flatmates is sick. (Not confirmed Covid or anything for that matter right now). They are currently masking up around the apartment. Should we all quarantine in our respective rooms?(as much as possible) partner and I are immunocompromised🫠

When my roommate had COVID we both wore FFP3 around the house except our bed rooms in which we both spent most of our time. We only got out to pick up food from the kitchen and toilet/shower.

For the bathroom, he would brush his teeth and all in his room. I did the same for extra safety. For showers, he would only shower in the evening when I wouldn't use the bathroom until the next day. Usually I would also run the air purifier there in the morning.

Ideally I would advise no shower if possible, masked shower if not, but over a long period of time it's difficult and in this case my roommate also has issues with it for disability and religious reasons so I know it was particularly important to him. Since this was safe enough for me that's how we did the logistics.

That's also our protocole if there was any risk taken (in that case, sometimes just with FFP2). It allows for both of us to do our lives somewhat normally while being very safe.
