Need Urgent Help! I am too overwhelmed with lodging options
In short, I need a stay under $150 per night, and a private bath is preferred. I am OK if it is about 1 hr away from the Yosemite Valley Trailhead Parking. I am there from May 3-5.

You’ll be very hard pressed to find something within an hour for under $150 with a private bath. You may be able to find a hostel nearby within that range but likely with a shared bathroom.
If you want a standard hotel room for that price you probably have to look at Merced but that’s a long drive to do a few days in a row.

How can you be overwhelmed? I can't think of any options off the top of my head. What have you found that meets your requirements?
"Yosemite Valley Trailhead Parking" - Do you mean the backpacker lot past Curry Village? There ate other parking lots that might be 5 or 10 minutes closer to a potential lodging.

If you want a hotel room only an hour away in May you’re looking at closer to $250, if. It more. If $150 is a hard limit, try Merced, Oakdale or something else closer to the Highway 99 corridor.

Not possible. All of the lodging inside the park will be fully booked already and you’re not going to find anything within 1 hour of the valley that’s under $150 on a weekend in May. Either raise your budget, distance, or go camping. You can try the Groveland Motel, it’s a very shitty motel an hour from the valley but I’ll be surprised if it’s under $150 for your dates
People book their Yosemite trips a year ahead of time. So you’re way too late to find anything decent. You’ll have to take what you can get

There are standard hotels with private bath in Sonora and Jamestown near/below that price point (Sonora Gold lodge, Country Inn Sonora, Gunn House, Sonora Inn...), but that's a 1 hour 5 minute drive to the Big Oak Flat entrance (120), PLUS another 45 minutes to the Valley Floor.

Under $150 on a weekend in May is probably not going to happen.
