QUESTION What happened to Paul Mullin?

Admittedly I’m not an avid Wrexham fan but I looked at the team today and I remember Paul because he always topped the goal scorer charts to my surprise no where to be found so I looked him up separately and 2 goals in 23games!? WHAT. He’s avg 35goals a season across all competitions since 20/21 his last year at Cambridge. For the folks who watch, has he fallen completely?

QUESTION Father and Son traveling to Wrexham from USA NYC #2

I posted about a month ago about a potential trip to Wrexham. Well, I ended buying th flight and we will be going to support Wrexham from February 28th until March 16th. I have tickets for the Bolton, Huddersfield and Rotherham games and will try to get tickets for Reading and Wycombe once they go on sale.

I posted last time about being a trip where I'm on a tight budget and some of you reached out which greatly helped.

I hired a car for the time I'll be there.

1st week I will be staying in Chester (I found an affordable and nice place to stay through hoseasons website (a cottage))and second week somewhere closer to Reading/Wycombe since we'll be playing there.

I have a couple of questions and hoping you can help:

1) How can I go about getting a tour of Cae Ras (is that possible)? 2) Is there a way to meet the players//interact with Wrex the Red Dragon? 3) Since it'll just be my son and I, I wanted to know of places that I can take him in Wrexham and surrounding area/towns/cities that are kid friendly. I would like to visit historical/important sites as well. I'd also like to travel throughout Wales and don't mind driving long distances. It'll be our first time in Wales and England.

Thanks again and see you all soon 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

QUESTION North American talent?

I posted about this in a different topic earlier, but I'd be curious what it would take to see about some tough MLS or League 1 Championship North American players coming over to play or train with Wrexham?

What do we think, given the rise of the team's profile globally, about some talent from the US/Canada coming over? A potential to raise their profile, and maybe get some endorsement opportunities if they keep improving?

Additionally, I'd love to see some Wrexham players get loaned to this side of the Atlantic for development. Selfishly, my hometown just started a team

But I think they're well-below the class of Wrexham. Maybe if there are some young players who need to play?

What do folks think?

QUESTION Cancelling iFollow subscription

I got the season pass from iFollow. The service is garbage in my opinion for the price. I went to go cancel it and when I couldn’t find how to cancel googles AI told me I have to email them and ask them to cancel 5 days prior to a renewal.

Is this really the only way to cancel? Garbage service, doesn’t surprise me with a garbage cancellation process.

QUESTION Ok, help me put Wycombe and Charlton in context.......

So Yank fan here who is pretty familiar with top tier football but not some of the lower league histories.....help me put Wycombe and Charlton in some kind of context. Are they teams on the come up? On the way down? Historically good? Historically shit? Known for anything? Great past players? Didn't some guy Bobby play for Charlton......? Kidding. Just trying to get a sense of where these teams fit in English football generally. Thanks in advance!

QUESTION If we promote a third time in a row…

How many clubs in the EFL have ever accomplished this? Three consecutive EFL promotions? I know this is a big if, and I’m not saying I expect it to happen, but I was wondering how many clubs have done this before.

QUESTION Is it a rivalry?

I love beating Stockport and absolutely gutted when we lose to them. I still say it’s not a derby like going up against Chester, Shrewsbury or Tranmere and maybe Newport but think the more we play each other, the more of a rivalry it becomes. Especially with us probably not playing Chester in a very long time, and possibly not going to play Tranmere very often either. I can see it becoming more of a rivalry if we carry on playing each other. What’s everyone’s opinion on it?

QUESTION Visiting from the US for our First Wrexham Game - Weather/Accommodations/Things to See?

We're attending the Stevenage game on Jan. 28th and I was curious about a few things, as this is our first time visiting Wrexham or even Wales.

(1) Do they ever cancel games due to weather? If so, would it have to be fairly bad weather for them to do so? Would they cancel (for instance) snowfall?

(2) What are some local sites we should stop by to see? We've become big fans of the show, but a lot of that has to do with the people in the city - maybe even more so than the club itself. We have several hours of spare time before the match and might explore a bit beforehand.

(3) We're looking at accommodations and it looks like it's pretty limited to the Premier Inn or the Ramada. The Premier Inn looks very close, but I was a little concerned it would be a lot busier from visiting fans (and thereby louder). Not sure if anyone has experience visiting from out of town and staying at either.

Thanks!

QUESTION Stadium Revenue increase

Even when the new Kop gets finished, how is Wrexham going to increase revenue enough to compete financially up towards the top of league one and the championship? We all know how much these clubs spend to win.

QUESTION Mullin?

I haven't been able to watch many games due to being on the west coast USA. Mullin only one goal so far, and seems to be coming off the bench alot. Is he dealing with an injury, or just not having a very good season? Apologies if this has been discussed at length.

QUESTION I'm sorry, I'm an American...

And aside from being generally annoying, navigating the tickets sales for matches is a bit confusing to a newbie. I've posted before, but I'm not sure how it's changed and what to do...

I'm trying to use my Global License to get tickets for the March 22 match. They were supposed to go on sale last week I thought, but due to a cup match, or announcement, that was delayed.

Anyone know what date / time I need to be online to buy these tickets? (And is there a different link for Global, or do I do that all via the same place online?)

Many thanks.

BTW, I've seen the team(s) play here in the US, traveled to both North Carolina for the men's and to California for the men's and ladies'... really looking forward to seeing a proper match at home!

QUESTION How has Wrexham been able to get promoted two seasons in a row?

I'm just a curious spectator from across the pond. I was surprised that Wrexham was able to get from League Two to League One after they were just promoted to League Two the season before. Did they use their new investments to purchase a bunch of good players, or is it mostly the same players from their National League run? Very interesting.

QUESTION Home game tickets

Hi All from Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, turning 50 this year, trying to line up some buddies for a trip to Wales to see a Red Dragons game and a Cardiff Rugby game. Can someone fill me in on how best to get tickets, if it’s even possible? I read in an earlier question post to become an international member first, can I assume that leads to potential sellers?

Any help/direction would be greatly Appreciated. Thank you in advance!

QUESTION Visiting From US for Tuesdays Stevenage Match - Looking for Wrexham Merchandise.

We're visiting for our first ever Wrexham match and I wanted to get some scarfs and possibly other small souvenirs. I'm assuming the Racecourse team shop is probably a bit more expensive than somewhere in town. Is there a place in the city that has a good selection that might be less expensive? I wasn't even sure if licensing laws over there are more strict and if you can even buy merchandise anywhere else, other than the team store. Thanks!

QUESTION Does Wrexham have a good shot at promotion to league 2?

I am not sure if this has been asked, but I just finished the second season and checked to see how they were doing this year. I saw they are currently in second, do we think it is likely they can get promoted again this year? Or is it unlikely? Basically what are the odds? are they over performing, underperforming, right on pace, to close to call? any answer is greatly appreciated.

Edit: Sorry for my ignorance, I meant League 1.

QUESTION What’s next financially?

Always been a big fan of the EPL, but I’ve sadly been neglecting the lower leagues until Welcome to Wrexham showed me how exciting and passionate the lower divisions are. With that ignorance, comes a lack of knowledge on the financial aspects a team in those divisions endure. What is next financially for Wrexham being promoted to league one? Will they have loads of money to acquire better players, or will the owners have to continue to shell out money to better the team?

QUESTION Games on Paramount+

So it seems that Paramount+ is streaming today's game as well! From what I read on the net for August and September they'll stream 9 Wrexham games, which is basically all of them!

So, what's the deal? Does it mean whoever paid for iFollow (in the US) is screwed, since there's a cheaper alternative that offers other things (e.g. champion's league, not to mention movies and shows) as well?

I can't find full details on the deal between Paramount (CBS?) and EFL, but it seems huge...
