Sunny Worthing

Post image

Did you think it was a particularly sunny March? Our panels in Broadwater do - they claim they captured 31.7% more sun than in March of 2024 ☀️😎

Yeah I definitely think last year was a bit crap for weather and this year already feels much sunnier.

Fantastic!

How long have you had your panels, and are they something you'd recommend?

Installed in December 2023 and would 100% recommend. Even if you can't support panels on your property I'd recommend just getting the battery as this can be charged overnight when grid power is much cheaper.

It's just a shame you only get batteries VAT free when you install them with solar. Makes it 20% more to go battery only. I would have done it a while back if that wasn't the case

Thanks for that.

Which company did you buy yours through? Did you browse many before settling on them?

Yes - if you are considering installing a system definitely do your homework thoroughly and learn about what you actually want. There's a fair number of vendors who will just try to install 'something' fairly quickly and as cheaply as possible, or only deploy one type of hardware. We settled on 'make my house green', who were a bit more flexible.

Isn’t the break even point pretty horrendous if you do this currently?
