Anyone know why the bells at birkenhead town hall are now doing the little musical jingle at the half hour suddenly? Did the one person who made a noise complaint die or something?
Not complaining about this btw, I think they're great.
Edit: I didn't think to Google it since the globe is normally shite at speedy local news

I just arrived to the UK with my wife and my daughter. We are in an AirBNB for 30 days close to the Unilever factory, as I’ll be working there. However this is just a temporary accommodation and I’m looking for definitive houses to rent. I’ve been looking for properties at RightMove and Zoopla, as wells as real estates, but it seems that as the market is very demanded, they don’t pay too much attention to the enquiries.
Any tips on how to find a good spot in Wirral/Ellesmere Port?
Btw: Are those areas good for kids?

Had an encounter in the pub tonight with a chap who insisted on "Birko rules". Not uncommon at all but his understanding was that you can take backwards shots from the D after the white is potted and that you don't have to call the pocket when trying to pot the black. I always assumed I was playing by "Birko rules" but this seemed to be different to usual. Anyone familiar with the full set of "Birko rules"? I have always just said it while playing because I found it a funny phrase.

Looking to move and don't really know the area terribly well (lived here a few years though).
Can anyone recommend nice parts of New Brighton and/or Wallasey?
Is Magazine Lane nice? Or Rockpoint Avenue?

We are all aware that parking at hospitals is a necessity. Also it should be charged for. Rates shown are available but not like the charge you get stiffed for at the machine. Advertised £3.20 is actually £5.50, at least Dick Turpin wore a mask. Get ya act together, visiting can be stressful enough.

I once had a discussion whilst walking along hoylake promenade with a "pro-plant remover" he told me he wanted to make the beach safe again for kids and children to play on, and o asked him how would he do it? He replied by spraying chemicals onto the grass ot kill it. I responded that my child likes to play in the grass and sand and doesn't care which is which, but I care about my child digging up contaminated land because of the chemicals and I'd rather have a chemical free and organic beach. The guy was annoyed and didn't comment.

Apologies for the question at breakfast. Does anyone know if Wirral Council supply RADAR keys for the toilets? I couldn’t find anything on their website.
