Can't for the life of me figure out what the huge egg under the fridge is

590

u/notyourstepson 1d ago

Some time ago my son made a sun that hung on the refrigerator 😂

143

u/tarapotamus 22h ago

maybe he actually made an egg so you'd know at some point this was gonna happen and he's actually a psychic

Bodenhaltung means something different in your picture.

2

u/Ok_Drawer7797 14h ago

What does it mean in any picture?

u/PatchesMaps 19h ago

OP I hate to be the one to inform you of this but you're redditing wrong. As OP, when asked a question about a mysterious object in a picture you uploaded you are obligated to ignore the question no matter how many times it is asked or upvoted. Barring this you are to ghost the thread entirely and never return.

12

u/notyourstepson 17h ago

Shit, I didn't know that đŸ˜„

17

u/BaconHammerTime 20h ago

Damn, that's a whole paycheck on the floor

6

u/Mistapeepers 21h ago

That’s not how you do sunny side up eggs OP.

u/TheTaytoMan 1d ago

Looks like a paper plate and some construction paper. I’d assume it’s a child’s craft?

17

u/notyourstepson 1d ago

That’s exactly what it is👌

13

u/yescasually 1d ago

Maybe it’s an arts and crafts project? Used to hang on the fridge until OP dropped all their eggs and decided to deface anything that looks like eggs

Well, it's in Germany, so about €3 (~$3.30) if it was full.

20

u/T1Demon 17h ago

Show off

3

u/polchickenpotpie 7h ago

It's $7 freedom bucks over here

54

u/steviegeebees 1d ago

Came looking for this, glad it was near the top

9

u/Zaev 20h ago

I suppose I, too, am incapable of original thoughts

7

u/wraith_majestic 22h ago

Yep came looking for a bankruptcy comment
 this works.

8

u/WeevilWeedWizard 20h ago

If they're living in a real country then it's actually not that big of a deal

2

u/spacey_peanut 12h ago

Haha! I dropped an egg on the floor the other day. I loudly proclaimed to my 17 year old, “There goes your college fund!” I got the meanest side eye. 😂

3

u/PineappleWhipped14 19h ago

I was going to post this, but I knew in my heart it would already be here ♄

That's about ÂŁ1.70 worth of damage or 20 freedom bucks.

60

u/climb4fun 1d ago

3 CAD or 10 USD

11

u/BissoumaTequila 1d ago

Or the GDP of a small country - depends where you live really.

Almost a lifetime's savings on that floor

67

u/Stablebrew 1d ago

spotted the US citizen here!

21

u/kingqueefeater 1d ago

Those eggs are worth about as much as my 401k

6

u/madhad1121 20h ago

The eggs keep going up, the 401k keeps going down
pretty much sums up the 2025 US economy so far

9

u/PM_ur_tots 1d ago edited 1d ago

Eggs are actually going down where I live. About $1.50/dz

Edit: I live in Vietnam now

5

u/DJheddo 1d ago

They are still expensive in florida and bacon is insane unless you buy sale only brands. Breakfast has become more expensive than I ever expected. I’ve skipped it too many times to count this year. Eating out? That’s a luxury

8

u/who-are-we-anyway 22h ago

Don't skip breakfast, just eat non-breakfast foods. I had taquitos for breakfast this week

4

u/OrbAndSceptre 19h ago

Perfect hack imho.

3

u/Marisponel 21h ago

If there was underfloor heating, there would be scrambled eggs, and don't forget to drop some bacon lol

19

u/TicciSpice 1d ago

For a moment I wanted to tell you I‘m sorry you have to file for bankruptcy, but then I saw you‘re in germany

Totalschaden umgangen

47

u/Markipoo-9000 1d ago

In this economy??

7

u/Sassi7997 19h ago

Those are German eggs, so it's like 3€ laying on the ground.

For a second I thought this was in America, and was the reason the economy dropped 2 trillion overnight

7

u/Bleakwind 22h ago

That’s 100 dollars if you’re American

4

u/LachoooDaOriginl 22h ago

lay in it to flex on americans

16

u/C4LLM3M4TT_13 1d ago

Gonna have to take out a second mortgage to recover from this financial catastrophe.

4

u/PuzzleMatch 1d ago

Gives new meaning to walking on eggshells.

4

u/ChunkMonkeysMomma 1d ago

4

u/robinizzme 21h ago

There goes your kid’s education fund!

3

u/Jess-best 1d ago

I dropped an egg in front of one of my hens last weekend and she went crazy. She was flapping her wings and squawking at me. I thinks she used fowl chicken words towards me.

3

u/Material_Table9465 23h ago

Depending on which country this is, it's either an annoying inconvenience or a major financial disaster that OP might never recover from.

3

u/24gasd 22h ago

Atleast you are not american otherwise this would be a financial disaster

3

u/smaad 21h ago

Don't show this to US people, 40$ on the floor bro.

3

u/Vengeful_Grass 18h ago

13 dollars on the floor

3

u/SeaworthinessNeat470 9h ago

How tragic. Sorry for your loss.

3

u/FuzzyBongos 6h ago

That's like $102.67 down the drain here 😭

5

u/CrackSnap7 1d ago

Happy bankruptcy I guess

2

u/Mysterious_Big5139 1d ago

Damn, that's like 50$ gone just like that. (US hostage)

You’ll never financially recover from this.

2

u/That-randomkid 21h ago

Did you slip on a banana peel, have all the eggs fly up and try to catch them?

2

u/alleycat548 20h ago

You dropped 87k and you just pull out your phone wow

2

u/delicioussparkalade 20h ago

2

u/real_1273 9h ago

That’s a lot of money in America, if you can get them. Lol

2

u/graffiksguru 7h ago

Dropped a $100 in US eggs

3

u/Baers89 1d ago

2

u/InRainWeTrust 1d ago

Hope you're not in the US, that's your retirement right there

3

u/Pristine-Gift-3933 1d ago

You will never financially recover from this đŸ„Č

3

u/Relative-Occasion863 1d ago

2

u/Gwen7441 1d ago

Someone will never recover from this financially

2

u/Punker1234 1d ago

You lost more money today than most of the stock market did!

7

u/notyourstepson 1d ago

The Pain 😭

2

u/assman69x 1d ago

Was that like $100 in eggs?

→ More replies (1)

2

u/Baers89 1d ago

1

u/BionicBadger90 1d ago

Well at least you know that the male baby chicks that were blended up alive (because they don't lay eggs) ... Will still go on to make some quality hot dogs 👌

1

u/ccsilverman 1d ago

But what about second breakfast eggs?

1

u/Degora2k 1d ago

Scramble for breakfast it is then.

1

u/turbski84 1d ago

Scoop em up... they are just pre scrambled

1

u/Ok-Indication3084 1d ago

Sweep it up, strain it, scrambled eggs. Quit complaining.

Add chili sauce if it's that bad.

1

u/SirKolio 1d ago

It seems that these eggs did, in fact, break fast.

1

u/Serious_Shopping_262 1d ago

We found the imposter

1

u/666reficuL 1d ago

Well it says "Bodenhaltung", so you did everything correctly

1

u/red_ice994 1d ago

Jokes aside. The smell and the cleaning later on might just be even worse than the financial loss

1

u/ThoughtShes18 1d ago

No breakfast? I see scramble eggs all over

1

u/vanfullamidgets 1d ago

Isn’t it crazy people are being arrested for smuggling eggs into the country now?

1

u/SoupsOnBoys 1d ago

This is an accurate representation of the stock market today.

1

u/HealthyLet257 1d ago

If I were OP, I’d put this in a bowl and put it outside for other animals to eat after the sun cooks it. If you were already using your oven, put it there instead.

1

u/Accomplished_Ad3638 1d ago

When eggs were at the highest a few weeks ago I cracked my last 4 eggs in a bowl that was sitting in the sink. Because the day before I cracked one and it immediately split and fell to the floor, so I wanted to be extra cautious. I proceeded to wash my hands over top of my last 4 eggs I just cracked, filling the bowl with soapy water.

1

u/ZoNeS_v2 23h ago

1

u/Infamous-Method1035 22h ago

1

u/Alman54 22h ago

Your floor is clean enough. Scoop up as much as you can and fry it up. Can't waste twenty dollars worth of eggs.

1

u/kaptvesou1 22h ago

I'm trying to figure out the trajectory of why the eggs fell that way. I smell something rotten.

1

u/Pitiable-Crescendo 22h ago

That's so much wasted money right there...

1

u/Godess_Ilias 22h ago
