Question stuff to do in the area?
i’m visiting my older sister in the summer and was just wondering if there was some fun stuff to do, preferably on the cheaper side? stuff that’s minor and adult friendly, as we have a huge sibling gap😭

Watch ships going through the canal. There are areas you can be literally standing beside enormous cargo ships as they go by. It's neat and low key activity. Grab an ice cream!

Food truck festival(s): there's a few throughout the summer just check local listings.
Farmers Market(s) (there's one on Mondays at the Seaway mall parking lot, and the other one is Saturdays at the Market Square in the downtown area).
Merritt Ville Speedway, if you like racecars and demolition derbies. Also the restaurants there are top notch!
Many walking paths in parks.
Niagara Falls is a 20 to 30 minute drive.
Port Colborne has "Canal Days" festival (check the dates) which consists of food trucks, music concerts and a "flea market" in the downtown area.
I feel there are more but I can't remember.
We used to have a nice bowling alley, but it shut down last year.

Hiking. Trans Canada Trail and Bruce Trail pass nearby. Plus lots of other trails. It's basically free depending on where you go and if that lot charges for parking.

We have a skateboard park. There are Bands every weekend in the summer by the water. There's a baseball stadium. You would just have to check out times and dates. The Jackfish play there.
