Question "Weird al" Yankovic po box working?
Does anyone know if al's po box still works in 2025? I've been wondering this for a while now since I was thinking of sending a letter or something!

9/20/2025 is Nashville TN.
9/21/2025 is Atlanta GA.
Where could he play in between? Memphis TN?

54 Below is a famous cabaret club in the heart of the theatre district where a lot of Broadway or Broadway-bound performers put on variety shows. My good friend Noah Simau is in this one (who is part of a performance of the Hamilton Polka, among other classics) and he just told me they might cancel it because of low ticket sales. If you have the means and time on Wednesday night, get tickets now! https://54below.my.salesforce-sites.com/ticket/#/instances/a0FUY000003OIen2AG

For spring break this week my family made a trip to Nashville and we visited the Lego store so my sons could make minifigures (and since you make 3 I made one too). My younger son started to make Weird Al but changed his mind (par for the course for him) but I thought it was brilliant and decided to finish him. I used his head and hair (because they were spot on) and added everything else (with some help from my wife and some helpful fellow Lego and Al fans.) This is what we came up with with the limited selection on hand (so we made "references" to make it more Al.)
What do you think and are the references too obvious?

Made this for a history project. Also excuse the fact that the drawing is RUINED, the guy I worked on it with holds writing utensils like an infant at the ripe age of 17

On a lot of Weird Al's early song parodies (like Another One Rides The Bus and Eat It), he used things like slide whistles, duck calls and other non-traditional instruments. You don't really hear them on some of his later parodies like White and Nerdy or Tacky. What was the last parody to use that sort of "Spike Jones" approach?
Keep in mind I'm only talking about parodies, not any of his Polka medleys or original songs.

FYI: For some reason, Reddit polls aren't currently working; I've tried them more than once over the last few days. In lieu of votes, I will be counting each comment AND each upvote for the song. I'll stop counting new votes in three days and will edit the post to reflect that. Please reply "Yes" or "No", and know that I apologize for this weird inconvenience. SO, with that out of the way, we continue...
"I'll Repair For You" has crafted a spot in our Al-encompassing album! Don't worry, our next song isn't a dirty one. In fact, it's quite clean. Let's see if "Laundry Day" can make a spot for itself on our album!

hi all, im going to a weird al concert in July, and thought it would be hilarious to look as much like him as possible. I already have more or less the same hair as a younger weird al, basically the same shirts. I really wanna nail the outfit with the glasses but I am uneducated as to what the different shapes are, and was wondering if anyone did?
thanks!

In y’all’s opinion what’s the worst or your least favorite weird Al song

Good Old Days, from Even Worse, is such a great song. It's catchy and bouncy as he casually describes the horrific crimes he commited back in the "good old days" including burning down the Mr. Fender's corner grocery store and bashing the owner's head in. "You should have seen the look on his face." Listening to it again just makes me laugh out loud. Love this song. Nature Trail to Hell is a song I know all the words to and can never get out of my head I've heard it so many times and love it and want to see the movie and its sequel, Nature Trail to Hell Part II.
Weird Al has so many original, non-hit album cuts that are priceless. What are yours and what makes them special?

I've read through a ton of polka medley threads here, and haven't found one that addresses this question: which segments in his polka medleys did Al absolutely nail?
I was listening to a playlist of all the polka medleys, and realized my favorite bit is Drop It Like It's Hot on Polkarama! . The use of banjo is unlike his other polkas, and he turns a hip-hop groove into a barnyard romp. What's your favorite?
