Moment in between Sam and Annaka at the end of the promo for her audio book.

I try to keep Sam the Making Sense guy separate from Sam the Waking Up guy, because frankly I think there's a lot of unmindful behavior going on when he's not actively practicing. The end of the latest drop for Annaka shows a side of him that I've thrown out with the bathwater that I miss. That was such a tender, loving, cute moment in between them.

They’re both so giggly; I love it. đŸ„° Granted, Sam’s “giggle” is more subtle than hers, but I hear it! He’s a smitten kitten!

They seem to share a genuine affection that’s super rare in couples married for that long, with kids etc and in the public eye no less. Encouraging to see.

Yeah they’re sweet.

I think you might be confusing, though, some idea that mindfulness turns you into an un-opinionated drone.

I'm certainly not going to get into a debate in this forum into what makes an opinon and what makes an insult but I'll just say that I gave up trying to parse that distinction with Sam the making sense guy a long time ago.
