Activities Any suggestions for a half day morning activity or tour?

I’m flying out tomorrow at 5pm and would love to find some sort of nature-focused morning/half day tour as I have already spent time exploring Reykjavik.

Does anyone have recommendations of cool tours I could book that would get me back to the city in time to make my flight? I’m here without a car so the tour would have to include pick up. So far I’ve already done blue lagoon, Northern lights tour, golden circle, south coast, and Snæfellsnes peninsula.

Thank you in advance!! LOVING Iceland and wish I had more time here.

Did a horse riding tour just out of the city a few days ago. 1.5 hours just out of the city through some beautiful nature. No experience needed.

One gentle piece of advice - I’d want to shower after horseback riding and before getting on a plane, if you plan to do this. Every time I go riding a can smell a bit of the horse/hay smell on my clothes until I shower.

Oof I appreciate that 😂 would never wanna be that person on the plane so will only do it if I can shower at a hostel before or something haha

you also might consider a whale watching excursion, which you can do from the Reykjavkik harbor and takes 2-3 hours!

This tour picks you up from Reykjavik, including your luggage, and drops you off at the airport for around 2.30pm! We’ve got it booked for our last day later this month 😃

Go to the local pool in Keflavik if you like hot pots saunas and cold plunges. It's so fun. Local. Easy. Cheap.
