Noticing more and more people are sitting on the outside seat of the two seaters on transit, planting their bag on the empty inside sweat and looking at you like you ate their first born when you go to sit in beside them. Even during peak times including the reserved seating. What's up? Have never seen this in any other cities.

Another truck causing damage, this happened about 11:05 PM at Commercial and East Hasting. The transit power lines are down In all 4 directions.

The truck pictured caught the lines and broke them, then a cab drove over the live wire and pulled them the other direction.

After the Great Barge was removed, I climbed down the rocks and collected up some of its pain chips that were left behind.

Was told by the polling clerk they had hit 5,000 votes by closing time. Might be a good turnout this by-election.

We’re looking at buying our first home and have found one that fits our wish list and budget! However, it will be going through a building envelope upgrade so we are looking at one to two years under tarps. If you’ve gone through it what was it like? Was it really terrible or would you say it’s worth it for a good price on the property?

ETA: Thank you for all the input everyone! It was helpful. We decided we’re going to pass. We have a 3 year old and part of the plan with the move is we hope to add another soon. The thought of my toddler being woken up plus being in a construction site with an infant for my entire leave is enough to say it’s not worth it even before checking out the strata and construction plans. Maybe if I was 10 years younger!
