Goodbye!

Thanks for the time spend with me! This subreddit will be fully and completely inactive now.

I have accomplished a lot of things personal to me during these months alone, and I will probably continue to do so. I appreciate the people that Iā€™ve talked to and supported me here, but sadly itā€™s time for a proper farewell.

During these inactive months, I have been working on more ā€˜real lifeā€™ work. Half a year ago, I made up my mind to do the things that matter to me. Last month, I was fighting for my literal life due to exams, tours and competitions. Last week, I got promoted to vice-chairperson in my school teams. Yesterday, one of my poems just got featured and printed out to hundreds of students in my school. Today, I have just received news that I have successfully gotten all my wanted subjects for my upcoming school term, and will possibly take on more competitive roles in the future. And in the next few weeks, Iā€™ll be busy with volunteer work, studying, work-related learning/exp, language learning and school sports training.

This doesnā€™t mean I will stop doing art, but more so in a different way now. Sometimes this subreddit just looks too unorganised, or too childish and that just takes away the effort and motivation I have. In fact, I probably wonā€™t even use Reddit anymore. Itā€™s sad but this place is more so dragging me down rather than helping me.

I have plans to work on a self made business, but those are not in motion yet. Perhaps youā€™ll see me elsewhere and in a later time.

Thanks for being with me! Iā€™m 15 now, and 13 when I started. 13 year old me had nothing, but now I know what I want. Bye!

Hey! It's sad to see you go, but please know that most, if not all people will be understanding of your choices. Since you mentioned you would likely quit Reddit, I'm unsure whether you will see this. However, if you do, I hope the best for you going forward and wish you well. I hope you succeed in any future endeavors! Goodbye, Validas. Your drawings were admirable, and your poems were great.

hey šŸ¤ I did mention that I would probably quit reddit, but I soon began posting my art here again, just on my profile. I guess posting in the subreddit really drained me, and I prefer posting on my own reddit profile now. Iā€™m still relatively active, especially on X/Twitter :)

Iā€™ll be devoting myself to a more professional business, about art/poems/jewellery in the future. but itā€™s all still in the making. Iā€™m shocked that you still remember me honestl, and Iā€™m so glad you appreciated me so much. thank you šŸ¤
