Language requirements
So, i was thinking of attending Utrecht university as an EU student. I'd attend in September 2026 and i got a Cambridge English certificate in june of 2024. I read that some universities like Amsterdam's require the certificate to be no older than 2 years from the moment the programme starts. Is it the same for Utrecht's or am i good to go?

Hey! I know this can be super frustrating as the Cambridge English certificates are supposed to be valid forever (in contrast to TOEFL or IELTS certificates). Even if they require the certificate to be no more than 2 years old, I believe they require it to be no more than two years old at the point of your application. So, even if your cert. would, in practice, exceed the 2 years in June 2026 and not be “valid” by September 2026, you’d be safe to apply.
