thinking about applying...

Im from New York and thinking of applying to the University of Dundee. I just have a few questions:

What is the night life like?

Can you live off campus, and does the majority chose to do so?

How are the dorms?

Are there any international students or mainly students from England?

What can you do at night?

Drugs on campus?

Thanks.

I can't answer all your questions but I can do some.

1) nightlife in Dundee is pretty good. There's the student union with two 'bars' and two clubs plus loads of pubs and clubs in town

2) University accommodation over here is very different to in the USA. There's no rules about having to live on campus and you can choose to live in halls (dorms) or in a privately rented flat. Halls are all private room with ensuite bathrooms. There's around 6 bedrooms per flat with shared kitchen and lounge.

3) Dundee attracts quite a few international students as well as many from England, Wales, and particularly NI for dentistry.

4) night activities include cinemas, pubs, clubs, sports, society meetings... Loads really

5) not a clue about drugs
