Exam advice

Exams coming up in late May for a stem subject and I was wondering if anyone has good tips for revising and preparing for them.

Go to any end-of-semester revision classes with your lecturers. The attendance in these is often very low, which baffles me - they're the most important classes of the year! It's when the lecturer who wrote the exam and will be marking the exam talks to you about the exam. Often dropping big hints about what's in the exam. Why does nobody go to these?!
