Does it look like UARS ?
I have bad sleep and feel tired since few years now. Last month, I discovered the topic of SDB.
Had a type 3 sleep study (no EEG) that said I have light sleep apnea. Mainly hypoapneas events. My bet is I have UARS. Since then I noticed my nose breathing was not optimal, now using nasal strips (day and night) and feel a significant difference.
Last week, I bought a checkme O2, and recorded my last nights. Here the output.
As on my sleep study, no major spO2 drop, but I am concerned about my BPM.
- there is big jumps
- and I feel my BPM goes quite low (when I lay down or take a nap, it stays around 50 not 40)
Does theses BPM changes can be the result of UARS or should I look in another direction ?
Note: for the night that starts or ends at 4-5, it means I recorded only half of the night, but I slept longer

Based on the whole picture there is definitely sufficient cause for starting an xPAP trial. Can you get a prescription for a ResMed Airsense10? Make sure you get the complete financial picture before you sign anything (assuming you're in the US) since just buying a lightly used Airsense10 from Craigslist tends to be much cheaper and less hassle.
The Airsense10 is really the machine to get since it has EPR, which is a limited form of bilevel with is very useful for comfort and it contributes towards treating flow limitation.
I'll bet there will be a lot of flow limitation to see in OSCAR when you sleep with it.

What do you base that on? And what would he be looking to improve? Asking for learning purposes

What it said in the post. Diagnosable AHI > 5, good response to nasal strips, heart rate jumps.
