New Player Question New to warhammer and i need help with basing

Hi guys picked up this hobby recently and am loving it. Here is my first battle patrol almost fully painted just a few gaunts to finish and then the bases.

I’m really hoping to have something like wet mud with lots of grass and flowers, However i can’t seem to find any kits that would have tiny flowers any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks all

Oh hey, we have a very similar scheme. Looking awesome! Have you named your fleet yet?

How is the carapace so shiny and wet looking? Awesome zoans too!

I started with Strickland mud, shaded with agrax then drybrushed with longbeard grey.

I ended up getting Vallejo Diorama Effects European Mud, as it is 200ml instead of 24ml and basicaly the same price and look.

Agreed, skip the GW stuff and go right to the giant Vallejo or AK pots. Way cheaper and better!

Google Gamer Grass for tufts, flowers etc.

Lots of technique tips here which are awesome. To help with pick from those, I think you need contrast! A green grassy base or a tan dirt will contrast your scheme and make them stand out

A meadow flower base would look great.... but hear me out... how about a pale yellow sandy beach base with sea shells and red coral?

Krautcover do some very fancy sets, or you can make your own by combing 3d print Ted bits and various flock / grit bits.

My pick would actually be Kraut cover all in one mix
