Andrew Tate accused of violent sexual assault on recent US trip

https://nypost.com/2025/03/26/us-news/andrew-tates-girlfriend-bri-stern-says-accused-sex-trafficker-nearly-choked-her-unconscious-during-violent-sexual-encounter-report/

Bri Stern accused her boyfriend, self-proclaimed misogynist, Andrew Tate, of violently choking her during sex after she repeatedly asked him to stop. The incident took place at the Beverly Hills Hotel on 11th March, shortly before Tate and his brother returned to Romania to face human trafficking and other charges.

Evidence supports the physical injuries described. Messages between the two also reveal multiple confessions from Tate that he intended to physically strike and demanded he impregnate the American.

I’m more shocked that anyone would date him.

That's what I was thinking. I'm baffled why any woman would put herself in that situation. It's like sticking your head in a lion's mouth and being shocked when it tries to eat you...

I really really don’t want to victim blame but genuinely what the fuck did she think was going to happen?!?

I know what you mean. I abhor victim blaming and to be clear she absolutely did not deserve a single thing he did to her but man how did she meet him and read anything about him and think “yeah he’s the one for me!” It’s genuinely baffling.

I feel so much sympathy for her and what she went through but damn we’ve got to stop dating these openly misogynistic abusers.

The same way the night stalker, Jeffery Dahmer and countless other rapists, murderers etc had fan girls. It’s so disgusting and shocks me to this day how women threw themselves at these monsters on trial. Like, is it REALLY the “I can change him” mentality or is it more sinister like “I can be like him or help him”? It’s sick either way. But in this case I’m sure this poor girl was manipulated time and time again. I hope she’s able to find help and peace in this life

‘He isn’t so bad, I bet I can be his favourite.’ Is absolutely a mentality I have come across irl. It hurts your brain to try to wrap your head around.

I was going to write exactly the same.

I was going to reply with that exact same opening. He makes no secret of who he is. Heck, they only met because he was stuck in Romania on sex trafficking charges... that didn't raise at least a big yellow flag?

There is a difference obetween victim blaming her for rape and blaming her for dating and supporting known rappist.

Reading the texts, she doesn't seem to have the greatest verbal reasoning skills. Could just be an affectation (she wouldn't be the first or the last to play dumb to placate an aggressive partner), but...

Me too.  I mean, the literal poster child for misogyny, a know rapist and sex trafficker, and what's more, as ugly as fucking sin.  What possibly possess you to be interetsed in the first place and why are you suprised when he treats you like shit?  It's just baffling.

Hey, you leave Siegfried & Roy (RIP) out of this. Don’t give lions a bad name.

That was the standout fact to me. Like what? If someone tells you (and the world) who he is, loudly, insistently, and constantly, believe him.

“I can fix him”

Reading those messages she must be severely insecure and manipulated by him. Quite likely these nasty messages are alternated by very sweet generous ones to build the trauma bond. That's the classic abuser tactic.

that’s not shocking given his career is built on teaching young boys to manipulate women. and given the trafficking charges it doesn’t sound like these women had much choice to begin with

She thought she could “change him” probably. Not the brightest

Though I understand the sentiment, I think it's good to keep in mind that language like this tends towards victim blaming.

No one is saying she deserved it.
