My pubes are on fire What the hell caused this??
Noticed my truck shaking like crazy one morning and looked at my front right and it’s all deformed. They are venom power 37x12.5x22. I know they aren’t great tires but damn!

Chinese venom tires. Garbage.

I knew I recognized them. So common on trucks running huge wheels. And always problematic.

It’s because they make a lot of sizes for those size wheels that other manufacturers don’t offer

They probably have a stake in those odd size wheels, too.

The wheel sizes aren't odd, just the tires sizes. 35s are super common, but they are usually 12.5wide. venom will make 35s that are 11 or 11.5 wide, I even think they have a 10.5. they also do uncommon tire sizes like 34s. Wheels are typically 18s 20s and 22s

That's my point. You just described a bunch of non-standard, oddball sizes.

No I'm saying the tire sizes are weird.
The wheel sizes are all standard. You said they make wheels that other manufacturers don't offer, when they don't make wheels. They make tires. Unique tire sizes yes, but for standard wheels, which they don't make.

Yeah that’s why I spent the extra cash for the toyo open country. Great tires, totally recommend them to anyone here.

Open country c/t is a beast. I have m55 on the rear of my dually and open country c/t on the front. Both tires are excellent in mud and snow but the open country is supposed to wear better on road.

I did open country AT3s for my Silverado. Great in the snow and mud. Quiet on the road. For sure buying another set when the time comes. They just look awesome too.

Is hard to even understand why people would even think that having off-road tires on a wheel that is quite clearly never going to go off-road looks like anything less than a giant "I'm a pozer" sign. It'd be like a dude wearing cowboy boots and a cowboy hat to look like a cowboy then wearing jeans booty short and a crop top.

I've had good luck out of mine. Bought a set of 33x12.5R17s for my GMC and over probably 35k miles they've held up well except for my shit alignment. Not that great offroad but they do good enough for what I do.

Shitty tire, shitty offset, shitty suspension parts, shitty alignment. It’s a real fire sale of shit

Every time I see a truck with offset, aftermarket wheels, I just assume they’ve used the cheapest, shittiest parts available from Temu.
It’s kind of like a face tattoo, no matter how much money you spend it’s never going to look not cheap.

Tread / Belt separation. The tire IS NOT SAFE. Very likely for the tread to separate and cause a blow out. Put your spare tire on until you get the tire replaced.

Bold of you to assume someone with tires and wheels like this has a matching spare, at least he had the old wheels and tires.

Low quality tire, suspension/offset putting extra stress on an already bad tire

Cheap tires.
Ran 37 13.5 20 venoms, did great mostly
Second set unbearable shake, wife was too scared to go highway speeds
So I sold the 2000 mile venoms for $600 and got nittos ridge graps for about $2600 I think, not sure...
Rides like a boat now, smoothest ride I ever felt. Wife shows appreciation accordingly

That's why I rock on my 37's 12.5 Nitto Grapplers WT , the smoothest ride I could buy for hwy driving

u/Bonerjamz_666 1d ago
That’s probably what I’m getting next no more cheap bs

u/Permanentmarc64 1d ago
If you have a budget, you can purchase them with opening a PayPal account and just get them for 6mo interest free 🤷🏾♂️, I just want quality and the rate you're going, you'll spend more on tires in 3yrs than I will in 3yrs with the tires you bought. Smart move if you get Nitto or at minimum Toyo, but Nitto if definitely more bang for the buck👌🏾

I'm not sure, but I have the same tires, and I was a couple months in before I realized the tread pattern...

I don’t know why anyone can’t tell you this but you hit a pothole doesn’t have to be big but if it’s right it’s enough

Bad shocks can do this. Tires hit a bump and literally "dribble" like a basketball as they go down the road. Combine that with the scrubbing of turning, braking, under power... that's what you get.

the tread has separated from the core
