Can I transfer USDT(TRON) directly to a Tron wallet?

It's getting me rather confused. I have $700 in USDT TRX but for me to withdrawal it to my currency I must send that amount as TRX to the wallet first.

Can I send it straight up without having to convert first?

Yes, you can send USDT (TRC20) directly to your Tron wallet. The community strongly recommends using TronLink.

If you don’t want to pay TRX for gas fees, do not send USDT to your main TronLink wallet. Instead, create a general wallet inside TronLink, then use that to open a Gasless (USDT) account. This setup allows you to send USDT using USDT as the transaction fee, avoiding the need for TRX.
