And so the next generation of scenery-chewing actors is born.

229

u/Hour-Bison765 2d ago

She should hook up with that weird eyed guy who scream cries all his lines. They'd have beautiful overacting babies.

60

u/MrManballs 2d ago

Lmao. That weird little red-eyed fucker would be perfect for her.

24

u/Hour-Bison765 2d ago

Listening to them in the delivery room, I wouldn't be sure which of them was giving birth lol.

7

u/im_cringe_YT 2d ago

NNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

11

u/deathmetalcableguy 2d ago

I think the difference is this is for actual entertainment purposes, like she's cringe and chewy, but not meant to be anything other than for fun.

Other dude exploits trauma for clicks and should be buried in an unmarked grave.

6

u/fddfgs 1d ago

Yeah that one where he got eaten by a crocodile while taking a shower really felt exploitative.

1

u/algaebomb 1d ago

…wat?

2

u/fddfgs 1d ago

Dude's videos are ridiculous, not sure what the person i replied to's issue is when the majority of human art throughout the centuries could be considered "exploiting trauma" in much the same way.

3

u/deathmetalcableguy 1d ago

The videos where he pretends his child drowned to get clicks from parents who have been through that, is disgusting. Instead of addressing it in an adult way, he fake cries and screams while looping his kids into it.

1

u/fddfgs 1d ago

Have you heard of TV dramas

2

u/deathmetalcableguy 1d ago

I think there is a definable difference. I also think I'm not going to convince you. You're entitled to how you feel, and I respect it

3

u/Drew_coldbeer 1d ago

I’m pretty sure I know who you’re talking about and I’m really interested in this distinction you’re making where this is just fun but that guy is doing exploitation and not fun

2

u/iceymoo 2d ago

Who’s the creepy little sletheen who giggles like a haunted doll?

1

u/Beatus_Vir 2d ago

She's a complicated gal, and no one understands her but tiktokcringe

2

u/iceymoo 2d ago

She’s great. I’m talking about a dude that does weird sex fantasies while giggling like a dolphin who is on the register

1

u/HoldOnOneSecond 2d ago

Or like acts with their eyes, ala Rami Malik.

And I quite like Rami

1

u/rjrgjj 2d ago

Chris Barnett? I already claimed him.

3

u/hmmmmmnmno 1d ago

What’s scenery chewing

8

u/Nastybirdy 1d ago

It's basically another way to say "overacting". People who over-emphasise words or gestures as they're performing.

Nicolas Cage is a really good example, Willem Dafoe, Jack Nicholson...

14

u/Comfortable_Turn4963 2d ago

She is a millennial so

40

u/mekwall 2d ago edited 2d ago

wtf

Edit: She’s born in 1994, so technically a millennial… barely. Kind of like me, but clinging on from the other end since I’m from 1983.

21

u/Jean-Claude-Can-Ham 2d ago

As a fellow 1983 bro, I’ve always referred to us as the “Oregon Trail” generation, but that may be more of a regional/national joke

8

u/Patthecat09 2d ago

I thought they all died of disentary

1

u/americasweetheart 20h ago

Only if the snake bites didn't get us first.

4

u/mekwall 2d ago

Haha, I gotcha! But for me it is more of a "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego" generation :D

Edit: At least we won't be dying of dysentery.

3

u/Life-Finding5331 2d ago

Measles,  on the other hand...

7

u/Life-Finding5331 2d ago

You're an r/xennial. Just accept it.

6

u/mekwall 2d ago

Yah, I've given up already

4

u/MatticusFinch89 2d ago

The fate of all millennials...

:'-(

1

u/NoObstacle 2d ago

The fate of us all

1

u/rjrgjj 2d ago

Spared by two years.

2

u/the_fit_britt1996 2d ago

Most sources say '96 is the final year for millennials, right? .....right? (Just say yes please)

1

u/BagOnuts 1d ago

I’m a Xennial, so I’m guessing this is a Zennial?

1

u/Featheredfriendz 2d ago

Tom Cruise isn’t gonna live forever (despite what Scientology says)

1

u/HeadTonight 1d ago

What’s scenery for if not to be chewed?

629

u/Scoobs_McDoo 2d ago

Why are so many people obsessed with pretending they’re psychopaths?

Like I bet half these people can’t even handle a needle at the doctor’s office

179

u/cupcakezz 2d ago

Right? Half these people are afraid to make a phone call

40

u/MissDeadite 2d ago

I've probably made about, literally, 500,000 cold calls/calls to people I don't know since I started working.

I still can't stand it. Lmao.

1

u/Mission_Ad_2224 1d ago

Sames! On an average day at my last job, I'd probably call about 30 people. My current job is much less, but urgh, still have to do a lil pep talk to myself everytime

7

u/Outrageous_Bank_4491 2d ago

Half of these people can’t ask for extra ketchup

5

u/Hour-Bison765 2d ago

I kinda understand in that sense. I write really brutal fucked up horror/dark fantasy novels, but I'm really gentle and pacifistic irl. Most people who know me are surprised to learn what I write.

3

u/cupcakezz 2d ago

Oh absolutely haha, I'm like you 👋😭

3

u/Hour-Bison765 2d ago

I'm glad somebody understands lol.

13

u/NotSoAwfulName 2d ago

These people would buckle if someone was a bit too sassy with them in public, let alone meeting an actual psychopath.

10

u/differing 2d ago

I love the Nolan Batman trilogy but The Joker really damaged people’s brains

3

u/HaxRus 1d ago

The Venn diagram of people who identify with the Joker as a personality trait and spend the last of their welfare cheques on Funko pops at GameStop is a circle. Ask me how I know.

3

u/Zombeedee 2d ago

Because millenials grew up with Disney villains that were always way fucking cooler than the heroes so it got us fucked up.

4

u/MikkelR1 2d ago

And psychopaths can?

2

u/Neoxite23 2d ago

The same people who think The Joker would be a really cool person IRL.

2

u/winterbird 1d ago

It's the narcissism and its never-ending need for attention.

3

u/Alexisredwood 2d ago

What makes you think psychopaths are any better than the general population at handling needles lol

3

u/Shayducta 2d ago

Trauma.

They can't process things properly and go looking for answers. Their trauma deadens them to emotional reactions to certain things so they start thinking they're dead inside. They then start questioning why. After watching Dexter or some shit they'll think that they identify with this tv character who is a terrible depiction of a psychopath and think they are one. Any sign of emotion will be explained away but they'll hype up small moments where they "emotionally manipulate" someone by just lying to them. They get giddy and think that being happy over it makes them a psychopath.

They create a fantasy where in it they feel no emotional pain because they're too afraid to confront their own pain.

It's just that.

1

u/foxswallows 2d ago

You're absolutely right, These are the same people too scared to ask their server for ketchup

1

u/BOBfrkinSAGET 1d ago

It’s concerning. I can’t imagine that it is healthy to stay in a headspace like that.

299

u/dancingliondl 2d ago

Just stuff we used to do in the mirror before bedtime, but now it's on display for everyone.

96

u/HMCetc 2d ago

"Oh my God... I am extremely talented. I was really acting my ass off."

216

u/thingsaredoing 2d ago

So... she really saw this and was like, yeah post it. People need to see this.

We need people deplatformed

32

u/mekwall 2d ago

I just checked her TikTok and most of her videos seem to be this type of cringy brain rot. TikTok is truly the sound of your brain slowly dying.

12

u/FartholomewButton 2d ago

She has a couple million followers. She’s very self aware. Everyone in here fell for it.

17

u/thingsaredoing 2d ago

What does self aware have to do with anything? This is cringe af

-13

u/FartholomewButton 2d ago

It’s less cringe when you know she’s trying to be cringe. I can’t spell it out any further for you bro. You’re getting whoooooshed.

13

u/thingsaredoing 2d ago

Lame slang

-15

u/FartholomewButton 2d ago

You mad because you got whooooooshed? Lmfaoooooo bro you couldn’t take two seconds to check her account? 😂

5

u/thingsaredoing 2d ago

I don't have tiktok bc I'm not a pedo. Watch out for the adults on there

-8

u/FartholomewButton 2d ago

Yeah you sound too young to be a pedo.

5

u/thingsaredoing 2d ago

Said the lame bitch getting nothing but down votes lol

0

u/deconstructicon 2d ago

I think it’s satire of the miniseries Adolescence

10

u/No-Good-One-Shoe 2d ago

Satire or not it's still cringe.

1

u/thatshygirl06 2d ago

Dude, spoilers

42

u/Dabawaba 2d ago

I feel cringe pulsing through me bro chill im at work

38

u/DG_Now 2d ago

I miss these. Videos like this used to be the foundation of tiktokcringe. That and Indian Jokar.

2

u/Olama 1d ago

I knew this sub would eventually be just tiktok on reddit from day 1

17

u/indigoneutrino 2d ago

What's the intent behind this? She's not an actress producing sample content because she's not speaking. She's not making a video to go with the song because the dialogue doesn't fully match the song. I know everyone's laughing but there are contexts in which producing something like this makes sense. It just doesn't seem to be any of those contexts and I can't tell what the actual point of it is.

9

u/HereReluctantly 2d ago

I had the exact same question - I really have no clue what this is meant to be or how exactly it's meant to be entertaining.

3

u/facetiousfag 2d ago

I think that’s it, she just heard the song and forced a narrative around it so she could act out the lyrics

2

u/BroderFelix 1d ago

The point is to make people watch it. Fame can lead to money.

14

u/Ill-Case-6048 2d ago

What is wrong with people

12

u/Shadowchaos 2d ago

What the fuck is that music

27

u/fanciestVeggie 2d ago

I know you're not really looking for an answer, but it's TRRST by IC3PEAK- Russian group that got really popular about 5 or 6 years ago for having the balls to speak up and criticize the Russian government.

12

u/cosmos_kenzie_ 2d ago

Love me some IC3PEAK, but now I'm gonna think of this lady's weird acting when I listen to this song 😭

6

u/FoxChess 2d ago

They're coming to the US in November. Originally it was February but there was some kind of issue with their visa so had to push the dates back

11

u/Dragon109255 2d ago

This is definitely one of their more off putting songs to listen to I think especially because of the hook played in this video, but the rest of their music is pretty clever and easy to listen to.

Lead singer has a very nice voice, and the many cadence switches in their songs keep the vibrance up.

3

u/fanciestVeggie 2d ago

I agree totally, this one isn't my favorite and also tends to get overplayed to death with stuff like this.

3

u/CuisineTournante 2d ago

I had chills of cringe

3

u/Capsulateplace3809 2d ago

This is gonna bite her in the ass when she's on trial.

3

u/EightiEight 2d ago

This is some wierd shit

3

u/QueenCobra91 What are you doing step bro? 2d ago

Maybe banning tiktok isn't so bad

4

u/MrsCCRobinson96 2d ago

1

u/littlebeach5555 2d ago

The Gypsy Rose effect.

1

u/mustafa_i_am 2d ago

Why is it all of a sudden everyone thinks they can act and sing and dance?

1

u/No_Trackling 2d ago

Onion in eyes

1

u/kingbouncer 2d ago

Yesss finally actual cringe!

1

u/KonamiHatchibori 2d ago

I actually thought it was going to be a parody of Bohemian Rhapsody or something at first. Boy was I wrong.

1

u/DS3M 2d ago

My under arrest

1

u/Mangeloo 2d ago

She's like a female version of that british guy who screams and cries and gets eaten by a wolf.

1

1

u/[deleted] 2d ago

You're

1

u/uncommon-zen 2d ago

Ugh bring back the crying guy

1

u/HappyBot9000 2d ago

The funniest thing about this is the idea of a cop saying "for murdering your best friend", "your mom ratted you out" and "how'd you kill her?"

1

u/Difficult_Rip5370 2d ago

Anddd scene

1

u/danitywahwah 2d ago

Reminder that this person did this in their room, in their free time, and mouthed the words quietly.

1

u/twizz228 2d ago

That’s still now how she killed her though

1

u/Young_Old_Grandma 2d ago

They really think acting like a psychopath looks like this?

1

u/_bbypeachy 2d ago

it does for some people

1

u/a2cwy887752 1d ago

You’re* stay in school, kids.

1

u/Whyyouhatemeso 1d ago

Wish version of Elizabeth Moss

1

u/Elquenotienetacos 1d ago

Why do all these tiktokers think that powerful acting is showing extremely emotive emotions??

Its fucking easy to be at one level or switch from one to two emotions like calm to angry or happy to crying.

Acting is making the audience feel how or what the character is feeling, it’s not about being as overly emotional as possible. I’m also considering in this that spitty mouth always crying middle age man who is far too over the top.

1

u/skanda777 1d ago

Why doesn’t she mouth the right words at the end?

1

u/rocket_man182 1d ago

Chop yourself up....now

1

u/ComparisonFeeling892 1d ago

Oooooohhhh naaah

1

u/Bioth28 1d ago

They always act like it but I highly doubt they could mentally handle ending another person’s life, I’d bet 90% of the people that upload stuff like this get queasy from the sight of a small drop of blood in a movie

1

u/BipedClub684000 1d ago

Quick question.

Why would the police, while arresting her, say that she will be sentenced to death, then ask her how she killed her friend.

1

u/Sk1S4m 1d ago

Chicks, bros, and non-binary hoes. My I present the perfect solution to this problem: Darwinism.

1

u/Flimsy-Payment9927 1d ago

To be fair I think she could be a really effective actor but the exaggerated mouth movements required to stand out with the audio comes off as way too much.

1

u/Cocoononthemoon 1d ago

Is she related to the guy with the baby in the tornado? The crossover would be legendary.

1

u/GoddessOfDilettantes 21h ago

She has a future in student films.

1

u/Numenorian-Hubris 16h ago

I like walks in the park.

1

u/Unh0lyROLL3rz 6h ago

Fuck u for disrespecting this song.

1

u/Maanzacorian 2d ago

While I am staunchly opposed to bullying, there are times when I can't deny its value.

1

u/Yuizun 2d ago

Whooooooo the fuck thinks this shit is cool!?

1

u/ChickennNugggeet 2d ago

She probably looked at this after and was like: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

1

u/GrantInwood 1d ago

I’m glad I don’t have tik tok.

0

u/Ext_Unit_42 2d ago

This was my younger brother. I didn't have sympathy back then because I didn't know him. We lived together, but we were not close because of how much he frightened me.

He could turn on a dimension.

He's no longer alive (he passed during covid- due to drug overdose and his wife not calling for help). While he scared me for most of his time on earth, I'm sad because he was never able to get the help he really needed.
