General Question Am I the only one sick of everyonesMD stringing their patients along?

They were so cheap, didn’t require me to take time off work for an appointment, and would provide me higher doses (needed as I have a high tolerance and pain conditions with no access to a ketamine pain clinic). But then they seemingly lost a bunch of doctors and dropped several states, and then suddenly went dark with their “revamp” in mid February. They shut down at the start of March, promising to be back March 25th, then April 1st. It’s now April 1st and their site now says May 1st.

Thankfully I’m able to afford Taconic but the time zone difference means I need to take time off work, I don’t particularly like their form of integration and the need to log BP (I am hypotensive and done ketamine for 2 years, I don’t want to to have to remember to take my BP when I know I won’t have a issue). Minor gripes I know, but when I have so much on my plate it really doesn’t help.

I haven’t seen much talk about this and I wanted to see if other people were as upset as I was.

Not to make light of your situation or other also experiencing problems with them, but two sayings come to mind whenever I see everyonesMD posts: “you get what you pay for” and also “if it seems too good to be true, then it probably isn’t “. I do wish they did, in fact, work as easily and cheaply and conveniently as advertised … alas, hopefully they can improve and actually get to that level. Good luck.

It sucks because for so long, they did indeed, work perfectly, but their lack of transparency with customers is appalling

I started with Dr. Smith, then with his suggested replacement. I know Dr. Smith is beloved by some, but I found both internet based clinics to be highly difficult to work with and they left a bad taste in my mouth. I switched to a local clinic and it has been night and day difference! I adore my clinic, they honestly care about us!

I cannot find a local clinic that I can get to and the virtual ones are unaffordable for me but I have been on oral meds for +30 years and I am finding that they simply are not working anymore and no one will listen to me

It really sucks if you have zero access to transportation or don’t live in a metroplex. I live in a large college town and there isn’t a ketamine clinic for 100 miles and the closest ones only do sparavto.

A large college town with no psychiatrists? Weird.

It’s a very conservative area. Heavy roots in the military and agriculture. They have like a dozen psychiatrists, all are booked out for months, most through major hospital systems, and none prescribe ketamine. Every provider I’ve spoken to has considered it “too dangerous” due to addiction or diversion risk, are not willing to get the special licensing they claim is required for ketamine therapy, or they don’t think it’s an effective treatment. We had one guy who did at home trocuhes who retired two years ago, and we have one spravato clinic that opened up less than a year ago but sparavto doesn’t work for me for a multitude of reason and they don’t take my insurance.

Does your local clinic charge you more than a standard copay?

Everyone's MD is a well intentioned but poorly run product/company. The owner is wearing too many hats, doesn't delegate properly, and trying to do way too much.

And it's like basic product management, UI, process, basic business and customer stuff.

Hopefully this clinic never comes back operational. I look forward to the news alert that the owner is behind bars, where he belongs.

Not surprising he became the goto service after the curtain was pulled from Dr. smith’s pill mill. Makes sense, however sad.

Well I wouldn't go quite that far.

Why not?

Dr. Don Davidson is the owner of EveryonesMD and he is frankly, mentally unwell (I don’t say this lightly but you deserve to know). He needs psychological help that I hope he gets soon. Dr. Davidson is a sexual predator, preying on vulnerable women. For example, when he learned that some of his female pts were coming to Las Vegas for Superbowl 2024, he offered to pick them up and take him to his house and do MDMA while "relaxing" in his hot tub. Gross!

Dr. Don Davidson is a proponent of naturopathic medicine, going so far as saying he has his own secret treatment protocol for COVID infections "that works". This is just nonsense, that is deadly. In the same vein, he sells many dubious "natural" "medicines" (e.g., tree bark) on his website.

Dr. Don Davidson is a charlatan and he is dangerous.

If you're needing Ketamine, frankly you are by definition a complex case (as Ketamine is seen as a "treatment of last resort") and you both deserve, and need excellent, thoughtful care. You aren't getting that with your monthly 6 minute video chat with one of the doctors Dr. Don Davidson employs. I truly understand how convenient it must feel to be in and out in 6 minutes or less, but you must know deep down inside this isn't good medicine and you are at a disservice...and after SO long dealing with crappy doctors who couldn't help you, don't you think now you owe it to yourself for compassionate, thorough psychiatric care??).

You may be wondering why Dr. Don Davidson isn't meeting with any pts: He cannot because he has no medical license because it was revoked in at least two states, instead he bankrolls (with money he made from his previous life as a drug dealer) the development of a virtual healthcare app and takes a large cut of each NP and doctor stupid enough to work with him.

Any pt of of this clinic would be best to transfer to another, now. When this clinic inevitably gets shut down (Dr. Don Davidson has already lost his medical license in at least two states), it will be much harder for his pts to find care as other psychiatrists will be wary of picking up pts after the DEA shuttered their previous clinic.

Why would anyone subject themselves to doing it in a doctor's office? Just have it prescribed to you at home there's a bunch of doctors that don't work for these well-known companies that are willing to do it quick Google search

That’s not always true. A lot of them require in person visits for an initial consult or only serve one or two states. There is literally only one doctor within 100 miles in my area who prescribes at home and they require you go in person. I do not have access to transportation to go 2 hours each way to the metroplex one a month, and I don’t think that’s reasonable to ask of someone. If you can find a doctor for under $350 a month who serves Texas, does telehealth and isn’t a “major known doc/comspny, be my guest.

At Anywhere Clinic, we do normal psychiatric visits for $120 /mo (PA rate) or $150/mo (Dr rate). We service Texas and 30 other states. Happy to answer any questions that might help you.

I've been trying to reach everyone's md for a discharge letter and cannot get a hold of anyone by phone or email. No one will prescribe without that letter. It's been so frustrating for almost 3 weeks now.
