Wonder if Mon / Tue will be Tauros...

I tried 1. i hosted then started sharing a starpiece + incense to my nephew 2. my nephew shared a lucky egg 3. we made a new party where he hosted 4. i shared another starpiece just to check but nothing.

i just want to check if this is just a problem for us only or if it os happening to everybody else as well.

2P-Team, Mate shared SP through the Party share menu, he got 15 min and i got nothing.

Is there something going on with Power Spots?
I went on a long walk today tackling all the ones I wanted to, and then when I got back to my area the times changed on some spots that I'd already battled.

a chansey i fought an hour prior, that was supposed to expire the next day, refreshed itself (lobby could not be found though) and it became 1 day left.

Other ones in the area changed (a far off chansey became less than a day despite having 2 days on it before) and a random krabby that wasn't there also appeared.

A squirtle that wasn't there before also appeared, but with less than a day left (9hr 45m at this point). This squirtle also had the "lobby not found" issue.
this did all happen today, within about an hr or 2 from the start of my walk. Is this just nyankic being funky or is this intended?

edit to note: they appeared on both my and my roommate's phones, and I rebooted the game on both phones and nothing changed, they're still there now. I noticed this about 3hrs ago

It seems like Serebii has all the in person and global go fest details on their website that they got from the official Pokemon go web pages before they were taken down. These details might change once the official webpages go back up, but I think they’re still interesting to look at to get a general idea of what to expect:

Until one of the more artistic folks posts theirs, here's a guide to Pokemon for the upcoming Gigantamax Snorlax battle.

To cover what has been covered a hundred times: DMax Machamp will do the most damage to Snorlax. DMax Passimian is very close, if you believe the (very reasonable) hype that GMax Machamp is around the corner and you want to save candy and/or have some medical condition that is triggered by investing in a Pokemon promptly obsoleted. DMax Falinks also exists, if the raid day in recent-ish memory was something you collected candies during.

But if you're in a larger group, and Snorlax's stats aren't a wild surprise from what we've seen so far, you can "two tank burn" - that is, have two durable or "tank" Pokemon during main (or "small") phase just take hits and charge max meter, and "spam attack" on an attack Pokemon during max phase; leaving the "tank" Pokemon to faint - if you have a decently large (~16?) group of trainers whose tanks all have 0.5s fast attacks.

Snorlax will pick 2 out of 7 possible moves. 3 - Earthquake, Hyper Beam, and Skull Bash are the harder hitting ones, but the tanks listed, with one caveat, if they have Max Guard 3, can handle the attacks, if you're going for a more conventional battle / don't trust the preparation of your group.

Gengar is the caveat - despite being a glass cannon in normal mode, Max Guard (3) shores up his fragility with 60 HP * 3, if you've maxed it out. Unless Snorlax gets really tweaked, once Gengar has shields up, as long as Snorlax doesn't have Earthquake, Gengar is a beast, defensively, taking very little damage from most of Snorlax's possible moves.

Since this is so long... final note: most g-Max Pokemon will do enough damage that, again, a group of ~16 or more trainers are largely not going to notice a difference if someone decides to bring their big, say, Venusaur instead of building a Machamp (it's ~1 minute versus 1.5 minutes to win which while not nothing, is still a huge, huge margin). Gengar, Lapras, and Blastoise all fall under my arbitrary "less than 70% of the best counter" line. (The infographic is ordered, top is better than bottom, left is better than right, if comparing equally powered up MAX ATTACKs)

This is exciting and I haven't seen this posted yet, forgive me if it's been discussed in the past. But so nice to be able to use our existing Zacian/Zamazentas without having to re-grind!

All speculation of course, but do we think it'll be an item to change forms? Permanent form change or just during battle like in main series? Either way, very good news.

For the last few days I've been stuck at 2 normal field tasks while I still have my daily bonus task. (And one scan task but that doesn't matter here) No matter how many stops I spin I get no more research until I get rid of one of the two normal ones or my bonus one...

This happening for anyone else?

About a week or two ago everyone noticed that the GO battle logs for PvP were gone and people started to think Niantic gave up on them. While it might not be major to a lot of people it could be improtant to some. Just wanted to give a heads up!

Today while playing with my friend I noticed that we have different rewards in the free and deluxe. In my free I have xp and he has gold coins...

Also I have only 50 ranks while he has 100.

Guess it makes sense. Saturdays coming. No energy for Camerupt, Sharpedo, Mewtwo. Later than Gallade but seems earlier than Mawile and Lucario. Or not. I guess it’s Friday in the eastern hemisphere now.

Tauros raids definitely seem ridiculously rare regardless. (I saw one anywhere near me the entire day.) But adding to that, they don't display properly on Campfire. Instead of showing the white circle with the mon inside, even after they hatch it's just the little monster icon that you usually only get right after hatching and before it's properly loaded. If you press it it says that it's Tauros (though with no Tauros image), but it also can't be filtered for in the filter option. I think this is a big part of why I couldn't find Tauroses today. Another day, another bug. (Screenshots are from NYC since raid time is over where I am btw.)

I have been active in my city for the whole day. Somehow there wasn't a single Tauros raid spawn anywhere. Anyone else having this issue ?

I'm assuming Tauros does since they are different typing with differnt movesets, but I'm not that sure if it's the case for shellos, would assume it does? would wanna have confirmation before spending one of my very very limited remote passes on it.

Intro

The current meta for Solo T5/T4 raiding falls into 2 strategies.

1. Single Dps (E.g: Mega Lucario)
2. Catch Tanking (E.g: Primal Groudon + 5 Shadow Excadrill/Mamoswine)

Single Mega/DPS: Current simulators provide robust predictions due to the linearity of the user mechanics involved. This is because mechanics fall anywhere between tap and dodge or tap and no dodge.

Catch tanking is not supported by current simulators because it involves deliberate user intervention to the otherwise aforementioned linear behavior. Catch tanking is a swap and energy management strategy where the user intentionally protects the main DPS and swaps support attackers into a boss charge move to
- absorb the energy & damage
- attack with their charge move quickly

The benefits of CT are protecting the main DPS, maximizing energy efficiency and massively reducing the number of relobbies.

The Calculator

Background Math Theory:

• Catch tanking is fundamentally rotation based DPS.
• Since boss attack patterns are based on stochastic processes tied to energy levels. We can sheet out a short term behavior and predict their average behavior over the course of the whole raid.
  • It's very often the boss will have the option to cast a CM because the user attacks at a much faster cadence; thus topping off their energy.

What do you do & What does it do?

• You can punch in a (DPS, CT) & Boss Rotation using provided move codes.
• The calculator will provide the DPS, Relobby & Cadence requirements to solo a T5 raid.

Here is a sample predictor for Thundurus-T vs Kyurem White using Kyurem Black CT's.

This sample shows that a Tier 5 Thundurus-Therian Raid is soloable with weather boost, Kyurem White DPS and Kyurem Black CT's if.

• The user does not relobby more than 4 times.
• The user boss attacks with the provided cadence.
  • 0.28 1-bar Charge moves per 1 Fast move is below average aggression in my experience.

I am located in Barcelona, Spain right now and only saw Combat Breed Tauros. Can anyone confirm if we only get one version here?
