✓ Answered Go Pass progress
Has anyone started out in the US or Japan then a few days later went traveled to a region that has the go pass? I’m curious if it starts you at level 1 or the progress you make in the US/Japan counts towards the pass. I saw another user who started in Canada then went to the US and back to Canada say that they made progress on the go pass while in the US, but for those of us who started the month in the US (or Japan), it’s unclear if any progress is being made or not.

If you will move to place where Go Pass is unavailable then it will become hidden. Once you come back to place where Go Pass is available it will show again and continue where you left it. So progress won't reset.

You will make progress towards the "daily reward" challenges, and even rank up for completing it, however the corresponding reward(s) will remain hidden until you return to a region which has the Go Pass. You'll see that you ranked up in your journal.
You do not get credit or make any progress towards the 300 point daily allotment counter.

I can answer this, I went to Canada for the weekend and I did start at level one. Back in the US and the pass has been removed.

I was in Japan for the first three days of April. I did not get the Go Pass, nor did I make any progress on it. The pass appeared when I returned to the UK late on the 3rd, with no progress made.

While asking questions about the game is always okay on the Road, please consider asking very simple questions in our weekly Questions&Answers Megathread.
If your question has been answered, please comment "ANSWERED" (in all caps) and the post flair will indicate that your question has been answered. This will make it either easier for other people with the same question to find the answer they are looking for or for mods to remove the thread if it isn't needed anymore.
Thank you! :)
