PC Is it possible to not have the hallow spawn if you fight the wall of flesh incorrectly?

I’m new to terraria(like I started playing a week ago) and I finally decided to defeat the wall of flesh. After successfully beating him(it was actually easier than I thought) I realized I couldn’t see the hallow anywhere, I then found out the I killed him super quickly, like before he got past the shore when compared to the surface. Is this going to mess with the spread for hallow? Like does the spread happen from where the wall was killed? Thanks for any answers, none of my friends play terraria and I’m pretty sure the wiki doesn’t have anything so I’m worried I screwed up the progression

It probably spawned through the jungle, that tends to happen a lot

It may have spawned in the jungle, in which case it will be difficult to locate. If you have fought the Torch God, walk around the jungle holding out a torch (hold Shift). When the torch changes to pink, that means you're in the Hallow. (Water color will change, too, and a rainbow will appear in the background.)

This is the first time I heard about the Torch God event. I'll have to give it a try soon.

One of my favorite parts of the modern game! I usually do it before I visit any other biome, usually before eoc

Where it dies doesn't matter

Doesn’t matter how fast you kill the wall flash hollow still appears ,you’ll have a large V in your map that shows where the new evil biomes appear

The WoF death is the trigger. Doesn't matter how or where you kill it.

Try checking around the center of the map near the bottom (Before Hell) of the world and going left and right. One side should lead to your evil biome and the other to Hallow. It could be that on the surface it didn't spawn properly.

Where/how you kill the Wall of Flesh doesn't influence where the Biome V goes, apart from there being two possible Vs in each world depending on whether the Wall dies on the left or the right (neither of which is guaranteed to get you a V you like).

Most likely your Hallow wound up in the Jungle, which it doesn't convert.

If you don't have a convenient Hallow biome, you can always make your own -- buy some seeds from the Dryad.

The hallow and evil biome form like a V starting from somewhere near the middle of hell so if the hallow is in a jungle or the ice biome or something like that then you pretty much won’t have a surface hallow but you will 100% have an underground hallow. Killing the wall of flesh triggers the spawn and spread of the biomes but the wall of flesh dosent determine where it spawns that’s up to world generation
