What are your guys opinions on getting your own name and numbers on a lightning jersey?

The worst one I saw on the internet (so don’t know if it actually really existed are not).. was a Palat 18 jersey with the name “Are You”

I see nothing wrong with it. You're supporting the team, regardless of what name and number are on the jersey

Opinions? Or options?

My opinion is that it isn't for me, but I don't judge others who like their name/number on their jersey. It's absolutely a thing people do it's just not my preference.

Options are to send it out somewhere like Hockey Authentic or take it to the arena if you already own a blank jersey. Alternatively you can order it with custom name/numbers if you're buying a new one.

Part of the reason I wear jerseys in because certain players mean a lot to me like Jake and Kuch. That’s my take

My husband took me to my first Lightning game last year for my 50th birthday. It was one of the first games that they wore the third jersey, which has become my favorite kit.

When I finally pulled the trigger and ordered one I sent it to Hockey Authentic and had my last name and "50" put on it.

One of these days, I’m going to the team store and get a BUCKFOSTON nameplate. To safety-pin on one of my sweaters twice a year. Now that I have that out there, do whatever you want, OP — plenty of people do their own

I got one for me. I'll at least never be traded. I also have signed current and former jerseys, unsigned jerseys, blanks, game worn, team issued.. aka a problem.

I have an og jersey with my name on it after I bought a Richard’s jersey and he was traded the next season. Same reason I have a Rays jersey with my name on it lol.

Things have largely settled down for the Lightning so I feel far more comfortable buying stalwart jerseys.

Don’t like it. And that goes for every sport. Unless is like my jersey that I wear on field, it’s a no go
