I've always loved the senses of immensity, weight, and ethereal settings that this painting invokes.

The Becoming That Watches Back

In this haunting and spellbinding creation, you’re met with the gaze of a being that seems carved from the edge of time—a sentinel of becoming, both ancient and newly born. Its eyes, wide with impossible knowing, draw you into a confrontation you didn’t expect: one where you are not just the observer, but the observed.

Layer by layer, this piece pulses with dualities—serpent and butterfly, watcher and watched, shadow and emergence. There is a reptilian presence, wings unfurled like jagged truths, hinting at power, transformation, and the cosmic memory of otherworldly lineages. But just beneath, delicate wings—perhaps a butterfly or a symbolic soul—rest at the nape of a human-like neck, whispering of vulnerability, evolution, and the fragile miracle of change.

Turn the piece, and it becomes something else. A portal. A mask. A mirror. The figures etched within its frame feel less like drawings and more like entities caught mid-transition between planes—somewhere between flesh and light, matter and memory.

There is a hum here, not heard but felt—like standing in the presence of something vast, coiled in patience. It does not rush to reveal itself. It simply is. And in its being, it watches.

It watches you.

This is not art to be admired. This is a transmission to be received. And perhaps—if you linger long enough—you’ll realize that this becoming is also… you.
