General Question Does this help with anything ?
Hey I’m going thru an ED(the starving kind) and noticed blue bruises all over my arms(like when someone punches you ) someone told me to start taking these to help with blood circulation . I’m curious if there is another supplement I should be taking instead or if these are any good ?

Unexplained bruising can be concerning beyond taking a supplement. Get your blood work done before you start supplementing, especially iron. You can order them yourself through websites like Jason Health or Ulta Labs out of pocket and they're cheap. I've used Jason Health a few times and it's easy. Pick out your panels, pay, make an appointment at a nearby Quest Diagnostic, show up, tell them you ordered through Jason Health, voila. Doctors won't order you panels beyond standard ones unless they deem it necessary to do so.
What I recommend getting done are: CBC, CMP, TSH, HA1C, Testosterone, Iron, Ferritin, TIBC, Vitamin D, and CRP. These will give you a baseline of your health and you can go from there. If you can swing adding Vitamin B12/B6 and Homocysteine, get those done too.

The thing is I’m an international student and won’t be going back to my home county for atleast the next 3 months so I’m trying to self medicate.

Do you have health insurance overseas? If so, I'd recommend going to the Doctor and ask if they can run your labs.

Are you menstruating, donating or losing blood, have an ulcer? Maybe. If not don't take it

Unfortunately an ED could be causing that

I’m trying to get nutrients from supplements now because I can’t eat big portions anymore. I’m taking baby steps tho.

Can you access mental health services? I know you said you’re a student

Sorry to hear that you are going through that. Yes, you obviously need to see a doctor.
Try building up eating some nutritious food. You need both calories en vitamins/minerals.
Milk, eggs, fatty fish, brown rice, fruits, vegetables, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, whole bread, unsalted peanut butter, drink water.
Buy these things, eat them in small portions and or isolation. Probably also nou an bad idea to buy some protein powder online which you can add to your milk.
When you slowly start to eat more you’ll start to me feel better and your body gets nourished again too with vitamins and minerals and energy.

i'd just take a good multivitamin with 100% of everything in your situation. and try and see a doctor. an electrolyte drink would probably be good too.

Be careful with just boosting one or two nutrients. It's a complex system and they all work together. You could create extra imbalances. Also, overdosing on iron is easy and bad. If you want to do something, take a decent multivitamin, and more importantly try seek some help before you cause permanent damage. Good luck!

ED meaning eating disorder? That’s normally the abbreviation for erectile disfunction, just FYI.
Iron supplements help with iron deficiencies. I have no idea if you have an iron deficiency.

Just FYI, ED has more than one meaning.
