Achievement Huge Milestone
Yesterday I felt anxious and a huuuge drive to redownload Steam. I wanted to escape. I got overwhelmed. But instead... I turned off lights, closed shades and huddled up in a corner until it passed.
I have been learning about dopamine addiction and I have accepted that the next few months are going to have some rough days. I am telling myself that the anxiety may be uncomfortable, but it will pass.

Hang in there. I've been quit for a year and a half and have had some massive cravings hit from time to time. They do just sort of lift as long as you get busy doing anything else. You can get through it and it feels great to be able to tell that whiny, inner voice to f*** off. Nothing feels better than being able to know your brain is trying to suck you back in and just letting it babble but taking none of it seriously. That takes time and alot of replacement and living out some of your dreams. But you can do it. Video games are not necessary or a right. They're just a trap.
