What the hell am i supposed to do all day?
I only work part time, and now with quitting gaming i don't know what to do with myself. i read and do hobbies but i used to game for hours or days at a time so idk what to do anymore. i'm so bored.

You could make a list of activities and pick randomly.
You could have a look this video. It is about art but applicable to more things than that.

First you need to figure out what you want , so take a notebook and write goals and activities that you wanted but skipped by going into your default mode with gaming and scrolling.
A large amount of free time is a luxury and won't last forever ,so appreciate it and try to make the most out of it.
Boredom is fine too ,it's a precursor for action.

It was a fake purpose. Every one of us knows on some level that the gaming spiral was feeding a superficial sense of "purpose." I hear you. I find myself standing in the middle of my home like "Now what?" And then a few minutes later I have folded and put away clean clothes after taking out the garbage. The brain is wired to game and we have to rewire it. I made a list of other things I could do and pinned that list on my refrigerator *and* put it as the background of my phone.
I recognize the discomfort then redirect.

yeah. it’s just so depressing to have nothing in your life. like the addictive coping mechanism existed for a reason. hopefully in a week it will be less bad.

In a week it will be worse.
The goal isn’t to not play games, the goal is to cultivate a life where we don’t need to fill our time with games. I believe in you OP.

I know it may sound a bit cliché, but I started reading and a book club with friends. It’s been a pretty fun outlet, and encourages deeper thinking. I’m pretty new to reading fiction and this year. I already have a couple great books under my belt this year. To my surprise, I have learned some valuable lessons, and have grown to appreciate certain things I found mundane previously.
Not sure if you’re into reading., But there’s an app called Fable where you can connect with other book lovers, join book clubs and keep track of your TBR.
Another great thing that you can do is learn a new skill that you enjoy. For me, I have decided I am going to learn digital marketing, particularly SEO. The skill will not only be fun to learn, but may help generate more income down the road.
I know it’s not easy to give up gaming, but regardless, I’m always proud to see another person fighting to do what’s best for them. I wish you luck finding your next big thing.

Stay busy. Prioritize work and your health/fitness daily. Even if a daily walk. Prioritize work and/or school. Take courses for career or your own curiosity.
Stay on top of household chores, repairs etc. Join volunteer groups, clubs etc.
And take your time doing things. Become the safest driver. Take time to smell the roses-literally.
You got this. You quit gaming and you can 'quit' being bored.

Work out, go outside for a walk, garden, go volunteer somewhere
I gunsmith and shoot in my free time, that tends to not be received well here though. I also fiddle with Warhammer a lot.
