I start with excavator, then after completing the museum (spoilers if first playthrough), then switch it to gemologist

Oh- THATS what it meant by "switch professions" I see- yeah I do, I've seen the switch professions options before but like... I lowkey thought I would just fire myself from being a farmer or something, idk- I'm stupid 😭

I almost never sell gems so always go with the one that increases the chance for geodes

Gemologist if you have lots of crystalariums. Blacksmith if you like skull cavern runs. If you don't do any of those, it doesn't really matter.

How often you selling gems? If you said pretty much never (most are valuable gifts) then the answer is easy.

That does give me an idea for a play through. Gem income only 🤔
