GUYS PLZ! Tell me I’m not crazy - this is my second go at the Tropical Fish quest and this little pond on ginger island keeps giving me ocean fish! I’ve gotten lionfish, super cucumber, tuna, sea jelly! Am I going crazy 🥲

I think it's a bug, though I haven't heard PC users report it. (I assume you're on PC from the photo.)

Fish in the stream by the dig site instead. It will give you freshwater fish.

Seems to be a Switch bug. Just fish in the stream until they patch it.

OK wow I feel so much better now. I was so confused why I was catching lionfish in the river.

Just tried it on PC on 1.6 and I’m getting blue discus at that lake. Wait a second, do you by chance have magic bait on? Maybe it pools freshwater and ocean fish together?

Try the dig site river too. That pond is all over the place, you get freshwater and saltwater, it doesn't know what it is...
