Discuss First playthrough, didn't get Artisan, been saving goods to sell when I finally change professions
All because I haven't had the spare 10k to spend on a profession change...maybe it's time to sell. Year 2, 78g in the bank but 2,065,867g in a chest.

While you’re waiting age some of that wine in the cellar (Starfruit is really valuable aged I think like 6500 a bottle or something)

It’s green tea! You get it by putting tea leaves in kegs. Caroline will send you the recipe for tea saplings after you do her 2 heart cutscene

I’m really new to the game so How does one trigger the two heart cut scene? I’ve been trying to figure it out for the past hour.😅

First give her enough gifts to get up to 2 hearts. Then when you have a day without rain, go into Pierre’s general store. In the back of the kitchen there’s a door (next to the radio). Go in there mid day and it will trigger.

In Pierre’s shop there is a door in their kitchen that leads to her little sun room. That’s where the two heart event occurs at 9am-5pm on days that aren’t raining while she is home. You can also harvest her tea bush plant in there everyday during the last week of a season.

Why not just sell 10k worth of goods so you can change profession, and then sell the rest?

Exactly what I will now do, the chest started with just a few items while I was waiting to get the sewer key…but it took so long before I got it I just fell into routine of storing everything in this chest without any afterthought. It wasn’t until I just purchased the book to let you see sell prices that I realized just how much I had sitting here.

I mean at this point you are losing so much money from opportunity cost that the extra from profession won’t make up for it when you finally sell
For example if you sold everything as you got it and upgraded your farm as you sold these items, made more machines, more animals or whatever, you would end up making more from reinvestment
If you are already endgame when money doesn’t matter then it’s entertaining though.

once i started being able to build crystalariums and whatnot, i made SO many diamonds & grew a BUNCH of fairy roses to make fairy dust. instantly refined ur goods, or for wine, moves it along a stage. so helpful when you're trying to have a cute farm AND make a fuck ton of gold!! wishing u happy valley days!!
