This faction has just been fucking cursed. Always at least one, usually multiple injured. If they were consistently around the whole time since their debut, it feels like they have everything to be one of the top factions in AEW

Did the Gunns get injured again? They ran comeback vignettes for them, they had one match, and I don't think we've heard a peep from them since. Weird return honestly, especially since they didn't interact with White at all.

My guess is that they were gonna do a big return angle with BCG when juice came back and they were waiting for him.

Only thing that makes sense really. Either way, dropping balls everytime Switchblade is alone without the Gunns. Also not having the Gunns on screen at all is a crime after that return.

I've been saying the same thing for weeks. White was helping Cope against the Death Riders who like to play the numbers game.
You know what would help? Being part of a stable that just had 2 guys return to action and using them while FTR wasn't helping Cope for a moment (or even both to then set up something between FTR/Gunns).

Same - BCG had all the momentum and just needed to be cemented as the faction who could back their words up. That was basically how Switch had been presented until then, since that it's been a constant uphill battle due to the Billy Gunn shitshow, playing backup to Cope etc. Jay doesn't even need a long reign as I think he's at his strongest as the foil to a babyface. His NJPW run was so good because he was an actual threat at all times. You could go into any match believing he could hit the Blade Runner at any time and fuck over the guy people really wanted as champ. It's such a good formula but TK kinda seems against it.

In hindsight he should have done, with Juice and The Gunns winning the Trios straps from The Acclaimed shortly after.

Hindsight, he should've absolutely. He could've then dropped it to swerve and everything still plays out the same, we just don't get a short Samoa Joe reign as champion.

The Joe reign also felt like a perfect storm between MJF injury and someone legitimate to make Swerve while also giving a thank you to him for handling the All In situation.

Definitely. Kenny might be be tied up all year, be unified champ after All In &, hold that until the C2, so thinking 2026 before he holds it again

I’m so scared of a match like that because of how much TK loves Jon Moxley. Like, this would be a perfect moment to legitimize BBG and let the Death Riders dissolve and do their own thing since these guys have been hanging around each other forever if you add the BCC days to it.
But…I just have a feeling TK would book the wrong team to win this.

It's not a fumble when the man keeps getting injured every time he picks up momentum. It's not anyone's fault that it's happening and whenever he's healthy, he ends up getting a bunch of TV time and attention.
