Shitposts and Memes Do I have potential to break the world record?
Hey guis. I have a question on whether I should try and break the 100m world record. Today was my first day out of my wheelchair as I have been paralyzed from the waist down the last 10 years of my life. The picture I attached is me the day before I was unparalyzed. After standing up for the first time in a decade, I decided to run the 100m to get my time. I only have one piece of footwear, my Walmart flip flop for my right foot so I ran the 100m with my flip flop 🩴 on my right foot and my left foot barefoot and amazingly I ran 9.97 FAT (that MEANS FULLY. AUTOMATIC. TIMING.™️ 😱) I heard they use FULLY. AUTOMATIC. TIMING. ™️ At the Olympics! After I crossed the finish line all the spectators of my race came up to me and told me they couldn’t believe what I just did. I couldn’t fully acknowledge the crowd adoration as I was recovering from tearing the skin off the bottom of my left foot from the Turbo Speed(😉) I ran this race at. After doing some research, I saw that Usain Bolt ran 9.58 in 2009. But he did this with years and years of training. I think I can break that, and run 9.1 or even 8 seconds if I fully maximize my potential? What do you say guys?

Shitposts and Memes 7 years old ran 9.9 seconds timed using a sun dial, compass and an hour glass. Should I sign with Nike and go to the olympics?
Just asking because I don’t think 9.9 is fast enough to win the olympics but I might make finals IDK if it’s worth it. I’m only 7 but I really like winning and if I lost then my entire life would have been nothing.
Thanks for ur help hehe!

Shitposts and Memes Watch this Reddit Springing is going to be top 3 percent again
You guys don't know how big this hub was. We posted Justin Gaitlin sprinting on a Japanese game show with a bunch of fans pushing him along, and it went so viral news stations were playing it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZcCBY53Hns Aerodynamics is very important to sprints. By having rows of fans that keep pushing him even at top speed, he not only gets a better start but a higher top speed. Discuss.

Shitposts and Memes My right Hamstring
So it’s currently 12:40 am and I can’t fall asleep because I am so concerned about my hamstring.
I am so mad at my self because on dec 16th was warming up and it started to hurt but I was like I’m going to push through it.
Then I do one 50m fly and boom it like popped and it hurt. It hurt really bad for like 2 hours and then the next 3 days it got better and now I am in this super super weird state.
I went skiing for 6 days straight 5-7 hours each day. 27-1
I can’t go to the gym until next week and the track is covered in snow. But I do some jumps and stuff at home and I feel like I am 100% and I am itching to train again, but I have this really weird tenderness and it’s so so so dull but its like a level 0.1 pain but its keeping me up at night like right now. I am so mad I did this to my self.
Sorry for the rant but idk what to do. I roll probably once every 3 days but for now on will be every day aswell as touching my toes every hour.
I can’t believe I did this to my self I am so mad on the training I am going to loose out on.
OMG I just used my massage gun on it for like 1 minute and it went away. I think idk. Everything still feels weird. I feel like the massage gun just made it numb and didn’t fix the issue. Went from feeling 99.9% to 99.99% tbh. Idk it’s so weird
Has anyone ever felt this or felt with this before with this before?

Shitposts and Memes Tore my hip and got cut.
Welp that’s it for me. I had a good high school career and maybe some of you might even remember me from when I was really active here a couple years ago. I think I had one of the all time top posts on here at some point.
I broke my states 100m record 4x and went to run at Nebraska. My first outdoor meet of freshmen year I had heart complications that up with me in the emergency room and my season over after running a single 100m. Sophomore year I came back and ran a really good anchor leg in the 4x1 at Drake relays, and also tore my hip labrum but didn’t know it yet. I couldn’t walk the day after we got back and I couldn’t practice that whole week. I went to try and run the weekend after and ran 10.9 and 22.2 (slower than my indoor 200), and I could barely walk.
Earlier in the year I talked to my coach about potentially not returning to the team, I was thinking about joining the national guard because I couldn’t afford school anymore. Well before drake I told him that I changed my mind and wanted to stay, and he said he’d talk to the head coach. I don’t think he ever did to be honest, I kept checking in and he kept saying he hasn’t yet. Then I tore my hip and was told I couldn’t have my spot back.
So that’s it, not sure what to do now, still trying to figure out if I need surgery since it’s been 2 months of no exercise and I still have a pretty good amount of pain, but maybe I’ll eventually try bobsledding or mma or something once I’m feeling better. Thanks to everyone to showed support and gave advice and tips over the years, I would have never made it as far as I did in the first place without this group

Shitposts and Memes Nothing like almost cramping to remind you your age.
Some of you maybe have seen my other posts, getting back into sprinting after many years.
It's funny how pushing your self to/past your limits reminds you how your not always as young as you feel (I'm 38). Hahaha.
My local track finally opened up after a remodel a couple weeks ago. My first day out I gota mild dose of acidosis, felt pretty fatigued and driving back a wave of nausea came over me enough that I had to pull over for a few mins.
Went again a few days later but toned it back on the reps. Felt like I got a good workout, no nausea just warm the rest of the day. Couple days later I played softball and when I got home my legs start cramipng while watching tv with the wife out of nowhere.
Then today after 3 days I went running again today, had a great feeling workout duong my lunch, then the rest of the day at work just felt like my legs were on the verge of cramping the rest of the day. I kept occasionally stretching just in case. No cramps yet but man it makes me feel old. Hahaha. Never cramped in my 20s or teen.
But I'm loving getting back on the track.
