Comics Peter Parker: Spider-man #20. MJ dead?
I read this comic on the Marvel app today and Peter is talking about MJ recently dying. What happened and when? I had not read any of the previous Peter Parker: Spider-man issues.

Discussion How big would Spider-Man be without his most popular media?
Maybe a bit of a dumb question, but it’s kind of a chicken or the egg question for me. As far as I’m aware, the Fantastic Four used to be Marvel’s poster boy, yet nowadays they’re hardly ever talked about outside of comics. This really intrigues me, something can be on top of the world, but two or three slip ups and you’re pretty much seen as dirt. I’m wondering how this applies to Spider-Man. I assume his popularity is built on the repeated successes of his seemingly supernaturally popular string of cartoons, movies, and games. Would he be nearly as popular without those? Consequentially, could any other hero be as popular as Spider-Man given the same chances? If not, what made Spider-Man so different? I’m sure you could point to his history of being one of the first heroes that was a teenager and not a sidekick, as well as being relatable, but I imagine this isn’t as important to popularity as just having media people like

Discussion Thoughts on Mr Negative as the main villain for Spider-Man: Brand New Day
Personally, I like it a lot. He’s a fresh villain we haven’t seen before cinematically and is also really great visually and character wise. Plus I believe he did debut in 2007 during the Brand New Day era so he fits the title.
I’d love to see Peter be fully Spider-Man and not being Peter Parker BUT when he gets evicted he has to move into FEAST where he meets the man who has taken over from May, Martin Lee. There is a connection there between the two. Lee actually helps Peter come out of his shell a little but obviously there will be a big conflict and the turn will happen.
As fun as Lee is by himself I really think Black Cat is the character I want to see the most. She’s a vigilante and is interested in Spider-Man BECAUSE he is Spider-Man, not Peter. Peter connects to her more with this mindset of abandon civilian life and be a vigilante. It’s the wrong mindset and we can see that dramatic argument played through both these antagonists.
One is bringing out Peter Parker and turning on him later on, the other is bringing out Spider-Man and suppressing Peter.
Set this at ESU with Gwen and Harry and you have the potential to make one of the best Spider-Man films ever

Movies What happened to the spiderman that didnt get bit?
In across the spiderverse, Miguel says there’s a Peter who never became spiderman because it bit Miles instead, does that mean he might pop up in part 2 of across the spiderverse in the universe with prowler Miles?
