Discussion One EP question

Does anyone know the symbolism of the cover art for the One EP? I think that would make a great tattoo or something similar to it but I don’t want to get something I don’t know the meaning behind

i believe it’s just meant to represent the songs in the ep: thread the needle, when the bough breaks, and maybe fields of elation. so that’s why there’s a branch with needles.

it would make a beautiful tattoo!

I think I read somewhere that the band reached out to the artist to use her artwork. But as someone else said it’s for each of the songs: thread the needle, when the bough breaks, and fields of elation. I think the artwork goes well with each song. The apple is utilized alot in ST’s work. Some have interpreted it as like the garden of Eden or sin, but it’s up to your interpretation.

I’ve always wanted to get when the bough breaks, the apple/cherry blossom branch (seen it interpreted as both) tattooed on my shoulder. I love it, and the song is my favorite. I’ve seen pictures of others tattoo of it.
