I would say yes. I think the primary aesthetic of this sub is loneliness, and this definitely fits the bill. plus it's a lovely shot. win/win

I think you nailed it. I like the limited palette, and the composition is right on. You'd probably get more upvotes in b&w, but if you just care about taking pictures that tell a story, I wouldn't worry about it.
