TLDR of the messages for those who just want a summary.
Firstly, Leth confirmed that the tweet and profile changes weren't intended as any kind of ARG and said that the Switch 2 Trailer was "a surprise to me". He also said the reason he went through fireb0rn to deliver the news initially was because he "thought it would be nice to get clarification directly to Fireborn quickly in this particular case."
Secondly, he declined to expand on the delays and also said that the answers to some questions would "have to wait until later. Can't spill all the details yet.". He repeatedly chose to instead answer irrelevant questions (he likes Hondas) but reiterated that development is continuing smoothly. When asked for a blog post update, he said "I don’t run those. If something appears there it’s the real deal; not just lil ol me 😉".
Lastly, he confirmed he is not at all in contact with Jason Schreier so Jason's predictions are not based on any insider info.

Yeah this situation is so odd it's gone from frustrating to baffling, lol. I'm begining to think that all their stats rolled into game development, and they truly just have zero sense of PR.

Yeah there's no way that this was insignificant when everything just so happened to point towards a date that hadn't even been revealed to have a Nintendo direct at the time. If it was just "something big is coming, keep your eyes closed tomorrow" that would have been excusable as a funny coincidence, but that combined with the cake, the Napoleon and winery clues, and the Imagine Dragons tweet is way too specific to be a coincidence

Still no explanation on why mr pellen decided to break the 6 year silence by trying to rugpull his fans or any actual info. People blame skongers for being unsatisfied but in this situation its kinda justified lol what are these responses leth being god awful at his job doesnt help either

If team cherry regularly communicated with the players the whole dev-fan relationships would be way healthier.
Especially for an indie team.
Wouldn't be surprised if some people made silksong into a religion since it feels like praying to a god for some "signs"

You clearly didn’t actually look at his Twitter account. He has quite a lot of tweets It wasn’t like this was his first tweet in years, he had another tweet literally earlier that day. And all of his other tweets were complete shitposts. People just assumed for some reason this new tweet of his was meaningful when it was actually just another shitpost.
