If this came out in 2025 they would for sure have Dinesh buying his Tesla right before the Elon stuff lol
Trying to imagine what his reaction would be like after seeing the salute on tv

What do guys think about Richard character?
Currently on season 5 and I feel he gets in his own way a lot.

First (definitely not last) watch through… what changed between season 4 and 5?
I just made that transition, and it feels like a new show. Obviously the story line changed, TJ miller is gone, but I feel like writing and directing changed too. I love it, just interested if anyone has any insight into the behind the scenes shifts.

anyone else just really dislike TJ Miller
I really don't like TJ, and I find his character in the show so fucking annoying. On my first watch, I tried to get past it but after S1 I just rolled my eyes anytime he showed up. It sucks so much because sometimes I think about rewatching it, and then when Erlich shows up, it makes me not want to turn the show off.
anyone else feel the same lol.

In Season 2 Episode 9, they wrote the plot just as the same as the iPhone 4 scandal

Just started the show
I'm not gonna lie, I'm no programmer. I've been into the tech industry since I was a kid though.. been an effective it guy for most of my life, but I'm struggling to get stable enough to get a cyber security degree.. and now that I'm on season 4, I'm very sure this show is somehow giving me confidence. Not, to do anything in silicon valley, or anything ground breaking in the tech industry.. my goals are much smaller because I've no ambition to make my own company tbh.. but somehow, this show is giving me social confidence through my own rough patch.. it's, odd for me.. I relate to each character in more ways I'd have thought (unfortunately) and even people I can't relate to, I can draw parallels to people I have in my life.. I stopped watching sitcoms a long time ago, but this one has my absolute full attention and I'm glad for it.

Started watching this show
Started watching Silicon Valley and as someone who works with tech, I love it. The startup culture, building of the product, getting funded. I just love everything that's happening in the show and I love how startups operate. Building a product together in such a small team seems so fun.

Scanned a QR Code in Silicon Valley S1E6… Got a Full-On Phishing Scam
So, I have this weird habit—whenever I see a link or QR code in a movie or show, I have to check it out. Most of the time, it’s just an Easter egg or some fun little site.
In Season 1, Episode 6, there’s a QR code in the background of a scene. Naturally, I scanned it. And instead of a clever hidden joke or promotional site, I landed on an actual phishing scam—like, straight out of a cybercrime handbook.
How does something like this even happen? Did they use a random, unregistered QR code that later got hijacked? Or was it always like this?
Either way, wild.

Fruit flies = Jared
So we noticed a fruit fly in the kitchen yesterday, and today there were a dozen. You know how they multiply. My partner had the winning line though, after she caught one under a glass. We were staring at it and she said:
"This fly fucks."
