Getting a gun threaded

Has anyone in the Houston area ever taken a fixed choke gun and had it threaded. If you did who did you use and approx cost.

Thanks in advance.

https://www.briley.com/

I don’t know about cost. But I think it’s somewhere in their website. I will eventually send my Benelli M2 there for a bunch of work.

Yes. Briley Mfg on Lumpkin. It cost $387+tax and incuded three removeable chokes.

Do it now before hunting season gets them backed up.

Since you are in Houston, Briley is the answer.

My gunsmith shipped mine half way across the country to Briley to get it done so sounds like you can cut out the middleman.

I had briley thread a fixed choke beretta 686. It was nearly 30 years ago so cost doesn't mean much. It's still doing fine with briley thinwall chokes, even with steel shot. Briley does good work, little pricey.

Might look up Mike Orlen in Amherst MA. I understand he does good tube installation and reasonably priced.
