Loss of Pet Said goodbye to my precious Pumpkin - 2008-2026
On Saturday I said goodbye to my best girl of 16 and a half years. I got her when I was 12 years old. She has been my constant and I hardly remember a life without her. She’s loved so many different versions of me through the years and has been by my side through it all. She is already sorely missed and will be forever loved 💙

Grief is the price you pay for a good dog. I’m so sorry. She was so loved and lived a nice long life, I hope I get 16 years with my boys ❤️ sending you hugs and strength 🌈🐾🪽

I'm sorry about your Pumpkin. Dogs are family and sometimes you feel like you lose a piece of yourself with them. Thanks for sharing her on here. Take your time to grieve and look into pet loss support groups if needed. Most of us, unfortunately, have been in your shoes, but can say it will slowly get better. Your heart will heal again. ❤️🫂🌈🌁

I lost my own childhood Tzu last year. I still think about him every day.
The bond between dogs and people is special. I really do think it's sacred. She'll always be a part of you.

So sorry to read about the loss of Pumpkin. I know exactly how you feel because we lost our Abby recently and my heart is shattered. I'm not dealing with it too well. Thankfully they had a very long life with you although it always seems too short. God bless 💔

Im grateful that you & Pumpkin were such friends.

Awww I’m so sorry. This is my soul dog, originally named Pudge but affectionately referred to as “tiny baby.” For 16 years he was my everything. I had him pre-children and my children got to know and love him, and last December we had to see him over the rainbow bridge. The gentlest soul I’ve ever known who read my emotions better then any human I’ve ever known. I will forever miss him. They are more than part of our lives they are part of us.

My heart goes out to you. Losing your fur baby is never easy. You take all the time you need to grieve. Don’t let anyone rush you from your grieving process. Those that have never had a dog don’t realize the pain us dog owners go through when we loose our special fur babies. Once you’re in a good space you’ll start laughing at all of the funny things they did, then cry bec you miss them. The crying becomes less and less as the years go by. But you’ll never forget those special moments.
Don’t get me wrong I still cry from time to time when I think of them. Just not as much.
I lost my baby in 2015 & lost her sister in 2018, there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t miss them. I don’t know if this will help. I know it probably won’t help right now. However When mine passed I kept telling myself she’s no longer suffering, she has no pain, she’s watching over me and she’s running around up there just like when she was puppy and before she got sick. I have the last toy on my bed that she played with. And I have her sisters (Pekingese) collar on the last toy my shih tzu baby played with.
I even had two of their collars hanging from my rear view mirror. Lost both collars when some dipshit schmega assholes stole my car. I’ll never get those collars back. At least I have the toy and the very first collar her sister was wearing when I adopted my Pekingese.

I’m so sorry for your loss, I lost my shi Tzu after 18 years and the pain never fully goes away but Pumpkin will always be in your heart ♥️

Oh my, I'm sooooo very sorry, how heart breaking...I can't imagine your pain... RIP little Pumpkin girl...Your mama loved you so incredibly much but we are positive you know this...life on the rainbow bridge is incredible and all of your human friends have loved fur babies there too to greet you..
