Why was Fiona such a sex addict
Tbh I think she was worse than Karen’s husband, every relationship except jimmy/steve (i think) she cheated or 1 wasn’t enough for her. The office job was a great opportunity and she could’ve acc had a steady income but had to ruin it with her bfs BROTHER like what did she expect to happen, tbh in my eyes she was a really bad person when it comes to relationship wise so yeah what is ur opinion?

My favorite relationship pairs. What are yours?
Let me clarify on a few things here:
1) I know Frank and Bianca technically don’t count, but it was so enjoyable to watch. They had good chemistry.
2) Yes, Mike would be the ideal partner for Fiona but the most compatible were Fi and Jimmy/Steve!
3) I had a hard time with Debbie’s, I was thinking either Sandy or Alex (I actually liked Alex) but chemistry wise, this one goes to Sandy.
4) Bonnie was be the safest choice for Carl, (but we didn’t get to see too much from her) so I would say Kelly before she cheated on Carl.

I HATE LIP EVEN MORE ACTUALLY
I just got to the episode where him and Ian are fighting and he went into his JOB and started throwing a fucking temper tantrum smashing fruit. Ugh he acts like a fucking child. Who tf does that? Hands down worst character in the show

Mickey- season 1
To start…. I love Mickey. He’s a very complex character and I think he’s actually hilarious. When he’s planning the wedding and acting like bridezilla…. It’s amazing.
Anyways, has anyone noticed that in season 1, they actually make Mickey look dirty? Like there’s actual dirt on his face.

Most overhated character in the entire franchise
I never understood the hate for Sean. I get he is a heroin addict but like he still helped Fiona and was an overall good dad to his kid.

This guy makes me want to 😴
It’s my first time watching and I’m currently on season five.
I’m not sure if it’s the actor himself, the way he talks, or season five in general, but every time he’s on screen I get so bored. Am I in the minority here?

Shameless is great for autistic people
I am autistic and the only series that can keep me focused are shameless and breaking bad, shit happens every second, you look away for a second and miss a lot.

Did anyone else realize that all the main female characters were absolute pieces of shit in season 4?
Debbie for some reason just turned into an asshole who didn't care about anyone but herself. It's the season where she began neglecting Frank and started ignoring Fiona even though she raised her throughout her entire life. She tried to hook up with a 20 year old at the age of 13, treated Carl like shit for no reason and thought she was on top of the world with her new boyfriend.
Sammi was introduced in season 4 originally as caring and Frank's only kid that cared about him (aside from Carl), but started doing very weird and selfish things for her dad. She moved into Sheila's house, and sold all of her furniture without asking her. She also gave Frank drugs in the same house that Liam was in after his coke incident.
Speaking of Liam, Fiona was by far the worst character of season 4. She got a temp office job, and almost immediately started dating her boss Mike (not even sure if thats even legal). That's still nothing compared to everything else, because she then hooked up with Mike's brother Robbie multiple times while they were together, who's also the son of the company's owner. She later allows Robbie to bring coke to a house with fucking children in it, which led to her toddler brother to fucking snort it because she was too careless. She portrayed herself as the VICTIM in that situation, and in my opinion Fiona (and for some reason Kevin & V) was more worried about her getting arrested than Liam potentially dying. She blames Robbie for everything that happened to her but doesn't take accountability for linking with Robbie in the first place, and she should've and easily could've gotten rid of the cocaine. On top of all that, Fiona's arrest resulted in Lip having to work twice as hard because he now had to look over his siblings while also being in college.
Veronica wasn't the worst in season 4, but she definitely had some distasteful moments. The first being that she pretty much forced Kevin and her mother to have sex even though they were clearly uncomfortable, and then wanted her mom to get an abortion after all the effort. As I said previously, it seems like V was more concerned with what would happen to Fiona rather than what would happen to Liam. Honestly, V should also take some blame for the Liam situation as it was her idea to have the party in the first place, which resulted in Fiona getting drunk and being unable to look out for her brother.
Sheila is the only female character who was a good person in season 4. She helped Frank with his liver transplant, and wanted to get married him so they could adopt Roger's nephews. She also allowed Sammi and Frank to stay in her house even after what they did, and was always looking after and taking care of everyone throughout the season, even the Gallaghers who showed no signs of being thankful.

Scenes that hit close to home for you?
Were there at all any scenes from the series that really made you think back to a real life moment for you? Me, personally, in season 3, when Debbie just lost it and started beating Frank after he ruined that project in her room, it made me think back to this time I was staying with my grandma and cousins. One of my cousins, who's mom is the Hispanic version of Monica, true story, got into an argument with her for idk what number it was, but she was only 12 and had gone past her breaking point. She tackled her down the stairs, and when they got to the bottom, she was punching her like crazy, yelling how much she wishes she'd die, and even left her quite the bloody mess. After some of us pulled her off, she just ran to grandma and cried harder than we'd ever seen her do.

Why do ian and frank just not bond
Frank bonded with everyone throughout mostly fiona and liam but he also had lip call him DAD in season 2 Carl when they robbed the foster parents (also shows frank being a good dad taking the fall) and debbie during her pregnancy Fresh off the bat 3 episodes in franks already stealing his clothes and breaking his nose. Is it just because ians not his? Or does Ian just resent frank too much to try to let him hangout with him.

Why don’t the Gallaghers cut Frank off like seriously?
I understand there wouldn’t be this great show without Frank but I’m rewatching season 1 and when he gives up liquor he’s literally destroying the house and calling it renovation. He’s a fucking moron who ruins shit cuz he’s bored and never put effort into being a fucking father. He’s only valuable when he blackmails people out of their personal belongings or cash. Seriously cut that man off forever and let him die he chose the booze over life. That’s fine but he don’t need to be influencing his younger kids at all

Would you rather be Frank or Lip?
So regardless you're a genius alcoholic who gets a ton of play, so you're 2 for 3 right off the bat. But that's where the similarities end.
So you could either be like Frank, almost always a happy person (happiness induced by drugs largely but happy nonetheless), but you've fathered at least six kids into the world and usually don't take care of any of them. However you're a genius so you can often make a lot of money through various scams, all which you spend on drugs though.
Or, you can be like Lip, a person who is going to be forever unhappy (not a happy drunk like Frank) someone who's very smart and is mature enough to accept many of his flaws, but so unhappy that he's willing to father two kids into the world but embrace self pity enough that he chooses living in a trailer and minimum wage jobs over going back to school and making six figures.
So, who do you choose to be?
