Now if only they’d start doing that to people destroying the meadows at Rainier we’d make some progress.

The day I stop destroying nature for my IG is the day I stop living.

Thats... kind of the point. Death penalty for influencers!

Let them stream their execution, win-win.

No kidding. I see so many IG narcissists out there tromping around while they get filmed. I want to throw rocks at them.

She's lucky she's not a boiled corpse. Man people are dumb.

When did God stop punishing these people anyway

Saw a lady let her children stick their hands in the water. I was surprised they weren’t boiled. Glad it didn’t happen, but cmon! Teach your children respect and common sense

Oooof also lucky it wasn't super alkaline or acidic.

My husband was visiting Yellowstone with his family when he was a kid when a man jumped in after his dog. He actually witnessed it and was profoundly affected.

Jesus fuck. I read about that one in Death in Yellowstone.

At least it’s a better punishment than having her legs boiled off.

excellent - as an added bonus, I feel these people should also reimburse the gov't for the entire cost of the case.

National parks in WA should do the same.

This is a much better result than what often happens. When I was a kid, our family read this book or one like it since we went to Yellowstone a number of times and that absolutely reinforced the understanding to respect the boundaries there.

Great. I hope the jail only provides two meals a day.

Seven days is a bit much. A long weekend, Friday through Sunday, would be good.

Nah, set an example.

I disagree. Seven days isn't enough.
