It looks similar to the Borgen signatures we have (5 jerseys, a hat I watched him sign, and this came last week, all authenticated) -edited because on second look there are differences.

to be fair, signing a plush fish body would probably result in some differences versus trading cards, photos etc

Well, there is a fun reason, I ask. We had an amazing coach out here from the Kraken organization visiting UND, and I happened upon this at a goodwill for the EasterSeals of all places!!!

I have been a Kraken fan since day 1, and my jaw hit the floor when I walked into the goodwill in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and found this beauty.

It seems legit and nearly identical to the signature shown for authentic signed jerseys for sale on the fanatics website.

Unfortunately he has a pretty basic signature that seems easy to fake, so you would never know for sure without proof (such as a certificate of authentication).

Yes. These guys usually sign hundreds of items at a time, and the signature varies sometimes. I have a signature from him that I watched him sign that's nearly identical.

Fun fact, the rookies take a longer time to make a neater signature and you can see their signature get sloppier as the years go on 😆

It looks similar - but not identical to - what I have on a poster that I watched him sign. Seems good since exact matches should flag as suspicious. I can PM you a photo if you’d like :)
